"A high school student in New Hampshire is being called a 'pioneer' after becoming one of the youngest people to undergo gender reassignment surgery. But her long and challenging journey began when she was just a child.
At 17 years old, Emily Tressa finally feels fully herself. Last month, she became one of the youngest patients in the country to undergo gender reassignment surgery."
New Hampshire teen one of the youngest to have gender reassignment surgery, by Kenneth Craig, CBS 6 News Albany, July 24, 2019

The article doesn't specifically refer to genital surgery, but I think we can assume it, since top surgeries on 16 and 17 year teens are not extremely uncommon these days, so if it's describing her as "one of the youngest", it's probably something beyond just creating breasts.

"Dr. Ting performed Emily's reassignment surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He created female anatomy that is fully functional.
His team has completed 12-hundred various operations. Dr. Ting considers it a life saving surgery, given the alarming rates of attempted suicide among transgender youth.
Emily's mother, Linda, says her only fear is what would happen if she tried to hold Emily back. 'We saw the unhappy boy and we saw the happy girl. And we knew the statistics and we knew we'd much rather have an alive daughter than a dead son.' "

I'll help you out with your reading comprehension buddy. If only 27 had genital surgeries total, then how were 65 of those genital surgeries among people underage?

You are awfully condescending for someone who thinks that 27 > 65.

If you do a tonsillectomy when there is no problem with the tonsils is it a mutilation? Again, if mutilation, in the context of the human body, is the removal or damage of healthy funcion body parts, then it's not mutilation when they are not healthy or functioning. Maybe that is where we need to start. What are you claiming mutilation is, especially in the context of claiming that circumcision is not mutilation?

Then you have this famous trainwreck. Gender surgery at 17, but the grooming began long before.

Yes. If you try really, really hard you can find one or two people who got the surgery a couple of months before they turned 18. Hence the fake outrage.

Jesus christ do I have to break everything down for you Barney style?

There were two categories. Top and bottom.

Yes. Read harder. If you try reading, you'll find out that those numbers are for CHEST surgery. Not GENITAL surgery. Boobies aren't genitals. If you didn't know that before, then today you learned something!

It's already been proved they're doing these genital surgeries before the patient is 18, in some cases.

The only real question is how young are they doing them?

Oh so you're on record as being fine with chopping the breasts off adolescent girls.

And aside from your attributing that 65 minors had genital surgery out of 27 actual genital surgeries, do you have anything to show how many of those only 27 genital surgeries were under 18? Or did maybe all of the under 18's come from the top surgery category, which would not be the genitals surgery of your claim?

Ah the second leftist that says chopping the breasts off adolescent girls is fine. Doesn't count and stuff.

It's funny how easy it is to expose leftists with a little bit of distraction.

Adolescent girls get breast reduction surgeries all the time. But that's still a goal post shift since you were making claims on genital surgery not breast/top surgery.

No, it's just that you are on record as getting your own link wrong and lecturing other people about "not reading" **** that you were the only who actually didn't read. I know it is embarrassing, but it is even more embarrassing to run and change the subject like you are now after being caught.

It doesn't matter what side I'm on. You are the one making goal post shift fallacies, and claiming numbers for something that your own evidence doesn't support. I call out people on even my side of the argument for that kind of failure.

Yeah because removal of breasts is the same thing and adolescent girls get breast reductions "all the time".

    Keep the spin going.

    Oh but it does matter.

You're in the group that says things like "adolescent girls get breast reductions all the time" when talking about what is clearly a study on transgender operations to remove their breasts.

    You're not fooling anyone.

I didn't get anything wrong. You read it wrong. Twice. So bad that I had to start breaking out the markers for you.

Then you're like "those are just breasts, who cares".

You do realize that there are over 76,000 breast surgeries a year for teens, right? This includes both boys and girls, and both reduction and enhancement for both sexes

You do realize this study had nothing to do with breast reductions but "transgender" "care".

    Keep looking for excuses.

Also, source for 76,000 breast reduction surgeries for adolescents per year, please.

Exactly how did we read wrong that there are only 27 genital surgeries instead of the 65 that you claimed?

No. You read it wrong. I asked about genital surgery for minors. You claimed to have 65 examples. That was wrong. Would you like me to break out the markers for you? Unlike you, I actually read your link, so I can help you out. I was the only who taught you your number was for chest surgery, not genital surgeries as you falsely claimed, so maybe I can be of further assistance.

Haha I found your source. That's 76,000 cases of all plastic surgery for 19 and under of all sexes.

more than 76,000 cosmetic surgical procedures were performed on teens ages 13 to 19 in 2011

    Not breast reductions.
