Full title: Russian nuclear capabilities in space could threaten international satellites, US military comms: Sources https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ru...national-satellites-us-military-comms-sources Remember folks. It’s just like the Trumpers are always telling us. Russia is our friend. There is no pee pee video. Vladimir is just misunderstood. The Ukrainians are the Nazis. Putin is our friend. He’s putting Nukes in space to protect us. Let’s abolish NATO.
No one claims Russia is our friend. That is a left wing delusion. And there is no evidence of a pee pee video. Just left wing hopes and dreams lol. Ukrainians have been widely reported to have Nazi's among their ranks, dating back over a decade ago. No one claims Putin is our friend, just that he doesn't have to be our enemy. No one claims he is putting Nukes in space to protect us. More left wing delusions. And NATO should be abolished. If the left spent the same thing acknowledging what their political opponents actually believe as opposed to what you desperately wish we believed...I wonder where our nation would be.
Here we go, another scare monger tactic to convince taxpayers that we need to pour trillions into the MIC to counter this 'new russian threat' with some obnoxiously expensive system that isn't needed.
Meanwhile Chinese scientists have invented technology to make humans nearly immune to radiation. To say that America is experiencing the fastest fall from hegemony in history is an understatement. Putin is not our friend and neither is China. Our biggest enemy by far is our elite class who crushed American innovation and manufacturing. It took decades to give away all the advantages that America once had. The best course of action is to put America first and begin the slow and painful process of moving tech and manufacturing back. However, looking at the massive IQ gap between China and America, I am not sure there is much we can do to stop Chinese hegemony. I wouldn't be surprised to see us falling behind India in a decade or two. Our best bet might be to foster a squabble between India and China. One thing I would bet my life and every dollar I own on...... the next two decades are going to be an absolute hell on neocons/neolibs. Their world order is going to be taken apart piece by piece. Best case scenario is a bi-polar or multi-polar order, worst case scenario is Chinese world order. https://www.scmp.com/news/china/sci...t-says-it-may-lead-super-soldiers-who-survive
Here is a book by Buzz Aldrin, "To the Moon and Back", fiction, but in it, describes the effort of a nuclear explosion in space. Satellites now have more protection, but this is a real concern. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/to-the-moon-and-back-buzz-aldrin/1127871353
Since we detonated some nukes in space back in the 60's, we probably know how to do it too. My understanding is that destroying things in space tends to be pretty low-tech. We launch a missile that gets close enough to just saturate the whole area with ball-bearings that rip it to shreds.
Ok, so I think that Russia is going to use this nuclear weapon against US satellites, perhaps including military satellites. We could be knocked back to the stone age! The future isn't written yet so now is the time to declassify this and get to work to stop this. Russia is desperate and will use this weapon. One doesn't wait until after the evil genius deploys his death ray before trying to negotiate to stop it.
Well, not really. The original internet was not wireless. Before satellites, communication was limited to a single continent with the possible exception of radio. Before satellites opened up the world in the 1970s, the USA had to use huge transmission/receiver dishes on the east coast to try and communicate with Europe.
