I doubt they would ever become an adversary, but they would stop relying on US made arms and make their own, and that would hurt US manufacturers. Also, with the alliance out of the way Russia and China would give serious thought about challenging the US now that we are alone.

US government run by competent people. Hiring competent cabinet secretary is the job of POTUS. Hiring 32 years old guy ( Jared), who has Zero experience in Middle East policy, and appoint him as head of Middle East Peace is a f888UP idea.
