First off there was fake electors (crooked election officials)

second there was by fact a machine that can be hacked and proven to do so within seconds

third, there are people advocating to keep these machines in place

fourth, the access codes are by in large very easily accessible by third party contractors

Fifth, there is one singular party advocating for this case to be tossed and you’re not asking why.

We can have elections with technology. But no pathway to be altered should be granted within the system. No one… And I mean no one!!!! Should have access to change votes.

you spoke of a comparison to bank cards and ATM pins. Find me one article that allows tellers at any bank to know your pin. They ask for verification but they themselves do not know it until you disclose it. Banks are by far more secure than voting with these machines.

Fake electors that mango tried to install.

The machine in question wasn't hacked. The security codes were ordered to be given to the person by the judge to perform this stunt.

Do we ban airplanes when they fail and kill hundreds of people? I ask again, what would you like to do about the machines you are so concerned with?

You have not shown evidence that someone hacked any access codes. The Court ordered the access codes to be given freely to this person for their stunt.

What case are you talking about? LOL

I actually did post an article that proves that those access codes can be easily accessed with th right knowledge and it was an article even pre 2020. All parties should be concerned over this.

yes, we said that when maga was doing this, they have compromised all these machines, they all now need replaced imo

that would be true of ANY voting machine republicans did this with, even one with the Trump trademarks China gave Ivanka

part of security is not allowing the public access to the systems ahead of time, it's call security through obscurity, should not be the only form of security, but one in the mix for sure

Not to mention that these makers shouldn’t allow for a pathway to change votes period. Why even do that?

Of course mail in ballots are popular. Doesn't change the fact that no (maybe one outlier) western democracy uses wide spread mail in balloting, though some have in the past but abandoned them because of the potential for fraud. And a US commission set up to assess elections in early 2000s co-chaired by Jimmy Carter who said mail in balloting is the larges potential for fraud that exists (though he did not look at drop off boxes AFAIK).

Theoretically if there are 10,000 votes and 5000 are fraudulent no recount will show the fraudulent ballots.

Paper ballots work just fine and are significantly more secure. Texas uses paper balloting although the paper ballots are scanned and counted by machine while the voter watches. And Texas machines are stand alone and cannot be hacked.

Are you still sniveling about safe and secure voting because the Loser lost and can't handle losing?

Of course, all methods of voting demand safeguards.

These fake stories persist. Sore losers can't handle the truth, so keep concocting their nonsense that their dupes keep swallowing. E.g.,

Since Election Day, a cascade of images and photos published on social media have claimed to show poll workers and others committing voter fraud. In fact, the posts mostly show election officials doing their jobs.

A Georgia election worker was falsely accused of discarding ballots in a viral video of him working. He had to go into hiding.

Pennsylvania poll workers weren’t caught fraudulently filling out ballots. The poll workers were copying information from damaged ballots onto blank ballots so they could be counted.

It wasn’t "cheating" when California election workers collected ballots after the state called for Biden. A county official said the boxes were locked at 8 p.m. on election night.

There’s no evidence ballots were smuggled into a Detroit counting hub. The video actually shows a local TV news photographer rolling in his equipment.

A video of "ballot stuffing" is not from a Flint, Mich., polling place. It’s from Russia.

Eric Trump retweeted a video falsely claiming that a man burned 80 Trump ballots. An investigation in Virginia Beach showed they were sample ballots.

Donald Trump Jr. shared a video of an apparent election worker destroying Trump ballots. It was created as a prank.

I think it's obvious they proved it could, because that was physically demonstrated in the courtroom in front of a federal judge.
But they didn't attempt to prove it did. This was to demonstrate vulnerability, not a deep review of election tabulations.
It says fraud by this method is possible and relatively easy.

If a Court orders Dominion to give the security codes to my 15 year old Nephew, I'm sure he can figure out what to do.

It's adorable though that y'all believe the machine was "hacked" in Court. LOL

Any machine containing software can be hacked. Paper ballots are the worst option. It would be so easy for a handler to invalidate someone else's ballot paper

I'm ranting, not sniveling, about safe and secure elections because they are fundamental to a successful democratic republic
True, some, like wide spread unqualified mail in balloting and non secure drop boxes a helluva lot more than others.

I already did. No hacking necessary when the judge gives you the security codes.

    Duh

Here's the problem with your premise.

To change the outcome of the NATIONAL election, you've have to have an in person hacker, with ACCESS, to all the machines across america. One or two guys won't do it, and that is IF they could gain access.

Not only that, an audit would reveal the discrepancy comparing the votes to the paper ballots.
    ;
So, the proper response is, SO?

No computer can be hacked without some telecommunication interface to it. As I already described, in Texas we are escorted into the polling room, given a paper ballot that we fill out in private, hand our ballot to an election judge and watch as he slides the ballot into the counting machine, and then takes the counted ballot and places it into a safe box for record keeping. If anyone tried to alter my ballot he has to do it in plain sight within a foot or two of me. Try to explain what make this one of the worst balloting option.

Where did I say anything about changing an election? Good hell read my comments before replying.

And if you think allowing a machine to disenfranchise even a singular vote is ok then here’s a big middle finger to your version of democracy.

Cite all instances in which a presidential vote in 2020 was determined to be fraudulent.

Where and how many were there?

The reason I ask for such confirmed, empirical data is because there are sore losers who just can't handle losing, and consequently lie about the democratic process.

But the whole point about fraud goes to Trump's claim that 'Democrats stole the election' and any argument in that direction ostensibly is to serve that premise.

Doesn't matter what you said, that's the base line and accordingly, your point has little significance.

As for 'singular vote being okay' let's get something straight:

Isolated cases of fraud occur with every election, and no one supports it, they just happen and like any crime, the gov does the best it can to put a dent in it.

But, as a point backdropped by Trump's allegation, there are bigger issues, not ot mention there is little evidence that these machines are being hacked. Morover, I'm not convinced that the argument presented includes other salient facts which probably will mitigate the premise, anyway. This is a technical issue, so let's see what Dominion has to say about it. Feel free to present both sides of the argument, that is, if you are interested, which doesn't appear to be the case. But, the salient fact is this, as a national issue, it isn't.

So, I got bigger fish to fry.
