Russia is gaining ground on Ukraine and their weaponry is starting to dwindle. Things are looking bad for Ukraine that I can see. Russia's goal was to take Ukraine and merge it with Russia and apply the dictatorship. This war isn't over until it's over.

 

The way to justify Ukraine's war is to let the Russians open their mouths.

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairperson Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia would likely have to seize Kyiv sooner or later while identifying Russia’s possible further territorial objectives in Ukraine. Medvedev responded in an interview published on February 22 to a question asking if there will “still be any part of Ukraine left that [Russia] will consider as a legitimate state, whose borders [Russia] will be ready to recognize.” Medvedev stated that Russia must “ensure its interests” by achieving the goals of the “special military operation” as laid out by Russian President Vladimir Putin – referring to Russian demands for Ukraine’s “demilitarization,” “denazification,” and neutrality. Medvedev reiterated Russia’s intention of changing the government in Ukraine, stating that the Ukrainian government “must fall, it must be destroyed, it must not remain in this world.” Medvedev claimed that Russia must create a “protective cordon” in order to protect against “encroachments on [Russia’s] lands,” including shelling and active offensive operations. Medvedev stated that he does not know where Russia should “stop” but that Russia “probably” must seize and occupy Kyiv “if not now then after some time.”

Incredibly, the Russian air force has lost another one of its rare Beriev A-50M/U Mainstay radar early-warning planes. Video that circulated online on Friday reportedly depicts the A-50’s burning wreckage in Krasnodar Krai, in Russia just east of the Sea of Azov.

The location of the crash, at least 120 miles from the front line in southern Ukraine, could indicate the four-engine, 15-person radar plane either suffered a mechanical failure—or took a hit while operating closer to the front and tried to make it back to its base in Krasnodar before exploding.

For what it’s worth, the Ukrainian air force claimed it shot down the A-50 with assistance from the intelligence directorate in Kyiv.

Possibly 2 birds down?....also an IL-22 that was flying tandem....Trudovaya Armenia....Krasnodar territory,RF.....125 miles or about 200 km from firing point contact line to shoot down location?

Patriots/HIMARS/ don't have that range?....S200??....but I understand they were decommissioned in 2013 by UAF?

judging by the amount of spamming the thing was doing prior to being hit it may well have been an S300 radar lighting up the A50.... they may have launched an S200 blind into the region of the A50 racetrack area and then lite it up with the S300 at the last minute sending a mid-course correction to the S200.....that could account for A50 chucking flares and chaff and the kitchen sink out the door....who knows.

 

The Russians are running out of airplanes.
