Black leaders, DNC blast Trump for ‘racist’ comments

Black leaders are condemning former President Trump’s recent comments about Black voters as “racist.”

Speaking at the Black Conservative Federation (BCF) annual gala in South Carolina on Friday, Trump said his legal woes have earned him the support of Black voters around the country.

“I got indicted for nothing, for something that is nothing,” Trump told the crowd. “And a lot of people said that’s why the Black people like me, because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against, and they actually viewed me as I’m being discriminated against. It’s been pretty amazing but possibly, maybe, there’s something there.”

I don't know that I'd look to the NAACP, a political organization, for direction on what is racist or not either.

 

It is BOTH....... Trump's stupidity AND racism. He has a history......

 

They would be the group most likely to have dealt with racism amongst the black population.
Part of the reason they were founded.

I bet they have more influence over the black population than most others.

Also noted in the OP story is the Central Park 5. Those innocent black teens he wanted executed back in the 1980s.

MAGA cost the R party the House, Senate, and the WH in just 4 years. The 2x impeached lost as an incumbent. Almost unheard of.

They have been losing seats in congress in 2018, 20, 22, 23 because so far, most of America is not in tune with MAGA bigotry.

Has anyone else noticed the silence from our liberal friends here since I asked if it is racist for president to tell people if they're really black or not based on if they vote for him or the other guy?
