Probably, but I don;t see subway riders trying to take over the subway while so armed.

That's not "armed". It's what folks normally wear or carry. The Jan 6 protesters occupied one building for a few hours. The government carried on.

Oh, I guess that's why many of them are in prison. It was just a picnic in the park.

    Bloody hell.

People have been arrested at protests for a long time. Are you old enough to remember the VietNam protests of the 1960's and 1970's? Protesters were routinely arrested. All the time. Same with the racial protests.

Yes, I do remember them. I don't remember any of the protestors here in Australia being armed with anything including pocket knives or condiment dispensers.

This is always my favorite reason to vote for someone. Staving off the bloodshed I'm told with happen if I don't. That's how I want the politicians in MY country to act. Totally above board, mature, with care and consideration for our nation and it's people. That's right rest of the world, that's our Trump, you can't have him!

A leftist candidate would never say that. Truth is a no-no for the left. The leftist candidate would see it, perhaps hope for it- but say erverything will be ducky. He would let the bloodbath happen, blame it on the opposition and take advantage of it to grab more power.

Trump wants to see violence if he loses. Not that he will ever accept it if he loses.

I see this statement as so illogical. Trump is doing this for himself????---he's risking to go to jail, to go bankrupt and destroy career and family? That's an odd direction for a "grifter". Liz Cheney is a "grifter". Financially benefiting and backed by those in power, she's grifting along. Anybody who choses to join and follow the wave of hatred for this man is rising in power and money. They are the grifters.

Donald Trump could have financially benefited just like Biden's family financially benefited---but he chose America and the American people instead.

He most definitely will. It's a binary choice. He's afraid and is doing the bullfrog chest swelling while making sure he can keep grifting. The feral intimidation mob has to be motivated.

    What’s “illogical” about it?

Trump’s self serving behavior was evident throughout his business career and is reflected every day in his politics.

He isn’t risking jail out of a sense of duty. He’s risking jail because of his own conduct. He did’ t try an overturn an election out of any sense of duty to his country.

He’s risking bankruptcy because of his dishonest, often fraudulent and alway chaotic managment of his inheritance. That certainly isn’t out of any sense of duty to his country.

Trump has been a grifter from his earliest days. Evidence abounds.

There is nothing illogical about people charactizing him as vulgar, self serving, disloyal, untrustworthy and corrupt.

The record shows that he is all these things.

What’s illogical is a deliberate, self serving attempt to ignore the facts.

Quick, quick! Manufacture a false premise to distract from the fact that the real issue is the mob being used as a tool in an insurrection plot.

    What?

Trump tried to enrich himself by steering government business to his hotels while he was in office. He is enriching himself by asking his working class voters for campaign donations. Think about this for a moment, why would a supposed billionaire need donations from people who often make minimum wage? What happened to self-funding his campaign? I tell you what happened, he never intended to self-fund, but it's another part of the con to get regular folks to believe that he works for them, rather than for his own pocketbook. Amazingly, he has convinced millions, including you, to believe just that.

As to the topic of the thread, it's interesting that only ONE Trump supporter is man enough to admit that Trump shouldn't have said that there would be a bloodbath if he isn't going to get elected.

    Fake News.

Trump was talking about the auto industry. The amount of false information you guys post on these threads is really off the charts.

As a fervent supporter of the biggest liar in politics (by a long shot), it’s both ironic and extremely hypocritical of anyone to say something like “trump is a no no for the left”.

I’m sure you still get your “news” from a television network that just paid out $3/4 billion for slander, and has to admit in court that it deliberately lies to its Trump supporting audience because they know the audience doesn’t want to hear truth.

She didn’t have cut outs dealing with Russian intelligence operatives to hone their troll farms, or hacking the Trump campaigns computers and releasing them at crucial moments in the campaign.

She also did not have a former Russian operative as head of her Presidential campaign.

She didn’t have to pay off porn stars.

Oh I'm pretty sure every other significant candidate has expressed the willingness to accept theelection outcomes even if they lose.

But ignoring the "elephant" in the room is stupid and what was done in 2020/2021.
Few thought Trump would do what he did in 2021.
    But he did.
And those who fail to learn from history...

That's probably true. However, the RW would NEVER spread fake news about Biden, would they? For example his SOTU speech being angry, amped up, jacked up... Both side play this game. You only mind, however, when it's the other side doing it, for your own side, it's perfectly acceptable.

Me, I appreciate that Cenk in the TYT video speaks the truth and clarifies that Trump was making this comment with respect to the auto industry. Now, whether the claim is true that there will be a "bloodbath" in the American auto industry if Trump doesn't get elected and can't push through his 100% tariff on imports, that's another story.
