Ervin Lee Bolling currently faces a count of destruction of government property... An FBI affidavit states that after crashing his car, Bolling got out and tried to walk past the gate where he was stopped by three special agents. Bolling refused instructions to sit on the curb and resisted arrest when the agents tried to take him into custody, according to the charging documents. ... social media accounts that appeared to be linked to Bolling that had a history of promoting conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election as well as QAnon. "I love you @realDonaldTrump," one account suspected to be linked to Bolling posted back in December 2020... "You have more support than even you know."... “We don’t yet know the individual’s motivation for using his vehicle to crash into a gate at the FBI’s Atlanta Field Office," Jones said. "But this individual’s suspected social media activity is part of a trend: Trump supporters espousing anti-government rhetoric and conspiracy theories — often echoing Trump’s own statements — that decide to take violent action against public officials." More than 1,265 defendants have been charged in connection to Jan. 6, according to the Department of Justice. Trump himself has been charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction, and conspiracy against the right to vote and to have one’s vote counted in connection to his actions regarding the results of the 2020 election. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/e...online-links-to-qanon-report-says/ar-BB1l2ude
It's comical. First to the defense of BLM not all being lumped together, yet first to lump anybody that supports Trump all together to fit your boogeyman profile you created. http://politicalforum.com/index.php?posts/1071962026/ I'm sure in your partisan head, you have rationalized a defense for your two-sided viewpoints.
I will never understand I understand being passionate about an idea or working to further a goal but the worship of a man — especially a man like trump — is perplexing. I never though the party of guns and god would fall down to worship such a person that cares about neither but I guess the indoctrination has been successful
It think it’s more that they have found someone that voices their fears, hatreds and grievances rather than that they have been indoctrinated into it. Hillary was prescient in her description of people attracted to trump. And social media gives mindless attention to the lowest common denominators so the culture gets dragged down into the sewer where the worst elements in society peddle their notions. We should be thankful that they are a minority, but the arcane electoral rules we have make it possible for a demagogue to win an election, so they are still a danger.
Violent demagogic rhetoric, media dehumanization vitriolic "programming", will ultimately radicalized people. They get desensitized to the violence, see others as "the problem" and focus blame on an "enemy". They are feeding fear which turns into anger. It's EMOTIONAL MANUPULATION of listeners and viewers. Just look at the ME, pretty uniform and homogenized people that have had a wedge driven by tribalism, most of these people look the same, eat the same and ultimately pray to the same GOD. The **** works on a good 40% of the population that just want to lay blame and hate on something for their woes, perceived or not. Music, for example, can easily slip into one subconscious.
Breaking news! man makes Trump tweets in 2020. 2020 Trump tweets responsible for man crashing car in 2024. Lets hear it for the amazing investigative work of the left
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/03/jan-6-megaphone-rioter-prison Another reminder of what the 1/6 insurrectionists are about.
Another apologist for all the kooky and treasonous **** that the Orange Sphincter has done and continues to do. Congrats.
"appeared to be linked" " suspected to be linked" "We don’t yet know " "suspected social media activity" now there is some real journalism there my friends.....
Have you noticed how when certain people do stupid things the media immediately knows their names, political leanings, finds their social media posts and even manages to find photos. But when other people do stupid things…
Americans are right to be concerned about the sexual predator, unable to deal with his 2020 loss. He incited his goons to attack police on January 6, 2021, and his provoking his unstable worshipers to threaten officers of the court and their families is a very real concern. The Loser's lickspittles rage against American democracy, law enforcement, and our justice system. 'QAnon' conspiracist who rammed car into FBI building wrote 'I love you' to Donald Trump A man who was arrested after he allegedly drove his car into the FBI's front gate, seems to have a history of far-right social media posts, including one where he wrote "I love you" to Trump.
It comes down to whether the crash was politically motivated. At face value, it certainly seems like it is. Now, both sides have crazy bastards who do stuff like this, so I don't know if it's really relevant other than that Trump does more to encourage it than Biden.
So an orange sphincter made him crash his car? Was it trump? was it a lone sphincter? Was it tweets that caused it? Please make up your mind. Its getting confusing now, lol
But that is the mazing part of the conversation. How can someone who inherited $700 million $$$$ be accepted as the "voice" of the people who have nothing. Hell, 90% of the digs on Biden from the right are that he is an "elite" ? Normally I would agree with your post, but I still get amazed more every day that these people actually think he serves them, that he represents them, and that he understands them. Donald Trump has not done one thing in his life that could even be remotely recognized as serving anoyone but himself. The right doesn't see Donald Trump the man, they see the myth, and its amazing to watch that myth grow, in light of all the facts that are staring them right in the face. It is the very definition of idolatry, yet I cannot for the life of me, understand how he can be seen as that, with all the evidence to the contrary. There is literally no evidence of the man, thruout his life that would explain the level of idolatry imposed on him by the right. And as a matter of fact, their are mountains of evidence to the contrary I always knew that this country/experiment in democracy was going to end at some point, but to have it end at the hands of a false idol is just amazing to watch
We have people with similar mindsets here in Florida. The guy below was a member of the new "Florida State Guard", which is basically DeSantis private army (they answer to him only), was arrested for wanting to kill Jews and Palestinians and “blow up” a military base. Its the same breed of people, like the MAGA-Bomber who sent the bombs to CNN and other news outlets. Florida State Guard recruit threatened to ‘blow up’ military base, witnesses told cops Read more at: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/po...-politics/article287306595.html#storylink=cpy In one instance, a witness told deputies he overheard the recruit say he wanted to “get a U-Haul and fill it [with] fertilizer and ammonium nitrate and blow up the base.” Another witness told deputies he also said he wanted to kill “Jews, [Palestinians], and that they all need to be annihilated,” the report states.
Limited Use of Charges Although there are frequent concerns about statements made by media figures, on social media, or even by members of the government itself, there are two aspects of the crime of insurrection and rebellion that tend to limit its use. The first is that, since insurrection and rebellion are crimes, private citizens do not have standing to file charges against someone. Only the government itself, acting through the office of the attorney general, can bring federal criminal charges. The second reason that rebellion and insurrection are not often charged is because of the strength of free speech protections under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The law tolerates a certain amount of exaggerated statements or claims in political speech, where there aren't accompanying overt illegal acts. The general language of the crime also lends itself to interpretation, making prosecution a riskier proposition.
