Yes, I did. Back then I thought that he was a good guy and that he had more brains than his boss.

Today, who knows? You have a different perspective when you are near the end of life. He did have a heart transplant, you know. He's also sticking up for his daughter. You can't really fault him for that.

Well, to your point (I think there must be one there somewhere), "Opinions are like buttholes -- everybody's got one!"

But, instead of me going on about what Democrat power-brokers are going to do about their Joe-and-Kamala problem, why don't you tell us what your solution is! And if you really think after the Democrat convention in August ends that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will still be on the ticket, just say so. Frankly, I hope you're right, for reasons of my own... although I'm truly not (NOT) a Donald Trump 'fanboy'!

With only two exceptions, I've been forced to vote for the 'lesser of two evils' all my life -- and both of those were the blessing and honor to be able to vote for Ronald Reagan! (I was far too young to have been able to vote for John F. Kennedy.)

But through distortion and misrepresentation it gave Democrats a huge club to beat the living **** out of all Republicans and Conservatives with for many years to come!

And when did conservatives on the SCOTUS pick to pull this 'anti-Roe' stunt? Less than six months before (BEFORE) the off-year elections that should have yielded a purge of radical Democrats in both the House and Senate. Too bad, so sad....

THAT's the real question! Democrats have got to figure that out... and although they get highly agitated at any suggestion that Joe's going to go home, and that Kamala-la-la will take Sotomayor's place on the Supreme Court, not one of them so far has made a plausible, sensible suggestion about who Democrats actually WILL nominate at their August convention.

Hint: I loathe and despise Gavin Newsom, but if they ran him instead of Biden, and then picked a liberal running mate who is actually well-spoken, and has poise and intelligence (like Amy Klobuchar), they'd win in a landslide....

[IMG]. Amy Klobuchar -- proof that one can be a Democrat, AND smart!

Or, perhaps, we don't see a relationship (that likely included blow jobs - gasp) as the reason she got her job.

I could do a better job than Jackson could because it's quite obvious that I know that the 1st Amendment's purpose IS to hamstring the government from censoring speech.

The Supreme Court isn't supposed to test which way the political winds will blow when they make a decision. Thank God we have a Supreme Court that is more Constitutional and less political than we've had in generations. Let the chips fall where they may.

You obviously missed the 9-0 decision a few weeks ago.

they can never explain why the court decisions they don't like, contradict the intent or words of the constitution., Mainly because most of those on the left don't like the constitution

    A No-Brainer 9-0 decision (which everybody expected to be a 9-0 decision).
BUT, when it comes to things that really matter (like Abortion Rights), the Court is stacked with Extreme RW Loons.

The court gave the power to decide abortion laws to the states. I'm still trying to figure out why that's a bad thing...lol

Abortion isn't a right. Abortion was allocated to the states to decide if they want abortion legal or not, which is proper. You don't understand why abortion was given to the states to determine, do you.

You can't explain why because you don't know why abortion was given to the states to determine.

How do you feel about the Justices (Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Barrett) who, when going through confirmation hearings, said they would not go after RvW? They all said it was settled precedent.

That's what they're expected to say. There's no such thing as "settled law" and the democrats and Republicans on the committee know it. Strictly politics for stupid voters.

Great. So bold faced lying is now the standard for SCOTUS confirmations? There is no wonder that people support Trump for POTUS. There is no honor or decency left whatsoever.
