Nice try, but most women still want manly men. There is a reason that the average marriage age has gone up--metrosexual men just can't seal the deal of marriage.

Please provide links in verification of what you claim about the kind of men women prefer. I would like to see a pic of a guy, you consider to be manly.

The evolution of the end of the Neandrothal man is upon us. Taller, thinner men with less body hair are the ones in magazine ads and television commercials. They are used because they sell products. John Wayne and his type are dinosaurs. Men with body hair are having it removed. The guy who wants to get laid is going to do a lot better with the look below.

While metrosexual has been out for over a decade, it had an impact for change.​

You don't understand the social matrix. What you perceive to be evolution is nothing more than marketing. It's a bunch of people on the coasts in the entertainment industry sitting around creating trendy new ideas of what to push on the public as the hot new thing we're all supposed to emulate. Weak people will fall for it and get caught up in the social conditioning game- running and running to try to keep up with what's popular. But interestingly, the people who ignore these things and march the most unapologetically to their own beat reap the biggest rewards.

For instance, John Wayne would succeed in any era without altering a shred of who he was. But your little shirtless pretty boy would be laughed at in John Wayne's era. Unless he also possessed certain other timeless masculine dominant traits. John Wayne traits.

There is an unspoken structure in the world of attractive people. Here in Southern California especially, "attractiveness is the currency sexuality." The most attractive are the "A" types. These people are attracted to other "A" types for partners and friends.

Next are the "B" types. These people have interests and intelligence that can compensate for not being an "A" type. They may marry a "B" type, but from my observations they are looking for an "A" like everyone else.

"C" types are one of my favorites. These are colorful people who are long on personality and humor. I think these might be the most happy of all groups because of their attitude about life.

After the "C" types it gets pretty sad. These are the ones who still go home alone even though the bar is closing in 10 minutes. Often you find bad attitudes here because they know they can not play with the "A" team. Most people stay away from the "D" types because of their character and attitude, not so much their looks. They can not get over that they will not marry a movie star unless they have a load of money. I think they get way too intense on physical appearance.

I have watched this game since high school, and I understand my limitations, I am not an "A," but my girl friend was because I was Vice-President of the Senior class, I had money to spend, and I threw the best parties because my parents were out of town most weekends.

Most people, myself included do not like to talk about things like this. It is uncomfortable, because there is little one can do to go from being a "D" to an "A." I think it is important for each of us to have an honest understanding of our talents and our limitations. Limitations were the most difficult for me.

You can post all you want in an effort to bring down certain guys because they are "effeminate," but we all know the truth. You are attempting to hide your own inadequacies. One great thing about the last ten years is high school jock has moved down the "appearance list." Everyday guys from the computer and chess clubs have moved up. Muscles become flabby, hefty bank accounts allow a life of adventure.

Footnote; Deep down everyone would love to be Ashton Kutcher. Not only does he get the Nikon commercials, the new TV show, and movie rolls of his choice, he can have anything he wants in the sack!

The OP of this thread is known trouble maker. The suicide rate among teens is 17%, higher than any other demographic. Obviously, this is a subject of serious interest as it has 462 posts. These people are struggling with matters like masculinity, and you are here making light of their very real problems. I hope the next suicide comes from your son or daughter, then we will see how funny this is. Is that real enough for you? Your wife has my sympathy.

You are the one who has to live with themselves. You are outed in this forum......... So, a psychiatrist makes you a bit nervous, eh? I can see why.

And, if you are going to try to zing a one-liner, please strive for message clarity first. Then, work on your brevity and timing. You don't seem to have the knack for communication, let alone attempting humor. There is nothing funny about suicide, ask your doctor. Perhaps the sooner the better.

 

No offense, but it only makes sense that you live in southern California if you think like this. You're still trying to bend the spoon. You do not yet realize that the spoon does not exist. It's all in your head.

There is zero difference between you or me and Ashton Kutcher other than mindset. We are all cut from the exact same cloth. But that's really hard for a lot of people to grasp because we get told everyday that we're all different and that some people are better than others.

Whether you realize it or not, you are currently living a self-fulfilling prophecy. You cannot fathom yourself as a peer to the people that you put on a pedistal. And as a result, they see you as you see yourself; inferior to them. The only difference between a "D" and an "A" is perception of self. But it has to be 100% genuine belief. 99.999% belief will make you come across as a pathetic tryhard.

And appearance is absolutely meaningless for generating attraction. Yet another mindscrew after you're able to see the matrix for what it is. Once you fully internalize this, you'll have a hard time giving a crap about what you look like anymore because you'll realize it is so unnecessary for getting who or what you want.

In short, Zach Galifianakis could pull the exact same women as Ashton Kutcher.

Not really. The north and the west are replete with effeminate males who wear makeup, spend more on their clothes than a girl, and couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag if the defense of their family or nation called for it.

 

The definition of each sex can be found in opposites. That is, feminine defines masculine and masculine defines feminine. With the advent of feminism, males were precluded from defining females however, females were not precluded from defining males.

Women have always like the 'strong-silent' type. This has morphed into men presenting an effeminate image to the extent that their masculinity is being adversely affected.

Women never know what they want anyway. It takes a man to steer them in the right direction, unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer real men willing to stand up to this feminine juggernaut.
