Apparently conspiracy theorists dont consider common sense to be compelling evidence. Should I be surprised? Considering the level of denial you are in about the moon landings it does not surprise me that you are in deep denial about this argument as well. LOL
It was a very proud moment for Americans.. who had been slammed by Sputnik. You don't remember? I remember camping out on the beach in Arabia to watch the Sputnik cross the night skies. This stuff about the moon landing being faked in a studio.. is stupid beyond reason. My father and brothers were invited to the Cape and we all watched it in real time. Your conspiracy theory rates right up there with HAARP and contrails, and birther lunacy.
No one in their right mind does: at worst it's a meaningless cliche, at best an ambiguous assertion. No matter how one looks at it, "common sense" is certainly not evidence. So, any evidence for your numbers?
Successfully replicating a moon landing on a sound stage would require hundreds of people. You would then need to bribe everyone at NASA who was involved in the Apollo program. You would need to bribe everyone who worked for the contractors that designed the equipment. You would need to bribe anyone with a radio listening in on the signals--including the Soviet government. There would be a huge number of people involved in such an effort.
LOL! Common sense is your enemy. Got it. I think the post after yours successfully spanked that argument. You really have no clue as to how many people would have to cooperate to make your conspiracy theory work.
The furthest back I can remember was the Challenger explosion. I too thought it was beautiful, but only because the state-operated TV station told me so, and due to my age I took it at its face value.
when the gods were in the process of doing this they didn't see any involvement of (numbers to bribe), if I may put it this way.) All they saw is that it has to be done in order to put in place of recognition as to who shall boss the world, and the gods collected their dividends to date. polscie.
I totally disagree. Discussing the irrational paranoia of Conspiracy Theorists is science and therefore belongs in this forum.
the intention of this thread is to raise fake moon landing related questions and have them discussed comprehensively, hence the results. polscie
And therefore, it belongs in the conspiracy theory section. They even have a sub-forum in there dedicated to the moon landing.
What do you think the Soviets were doing the whole time we were faking it on a movie set? You don't think they can track our rocket launches and know where our rockets go? That's why this conspiracy doesn't make a lick of sense.
even though the russians knew the instigation of the fake moon landing ( they too knew it is impssoble to land on the moon) russians cannot put up an open confrontations with USA because it was not worth to stage a war on the basis of usa making this moon landing. it just happened that this moon landing (the first one to) was the frontier in shaping up as to who shall boss the world. the usa was the first one to land on the moon (fake or not was not the tune of the day) and it gained her the power and the authority to boss the world. polscie
How did you determine what the Russians knew? What is your source for this claim? That sounds suspiciously like speculation. What exactly would have stopped the Russians (or anyone else) from doing the exact same thing and making themselves boss of the world? Your logic is retarded.
That is stupid. The Soviets would know in a minute we didn't land on the moon. It would be to their advantage to point us out a liar. No one is going to war over pointing out a fake moon landing. If you people would just use your head you would see how stupid your arguments are against a fake moon landing. But I don't see that happening.
Russians were ahead of the USA in terms of space explorations. So the russians knew the impossibility of landing on the surface of the moon. I do not believe what the media says/claims. I put up my own viewpoints and understanding independently. I do not believe Man could be successful in further space travelling and landing on any surface other than the earth's polscie
I dont even take the moon landing consiracies seriously. With that said, to have been alive when man did walk on the moon, and to watch that on TV would have been AMAZING!! I am a big time NASA supporter and outer space facinates me. This may annoy some of you small govt people but I think our space budget needs to be MUCH bigger. That is where our distant future lies, we might as well progress space travel much quicker than we have now. Eventually Earth will die. That is a fact. Yes it is probably about a Billion years away or more but it will die eventually. Lets expand!! Lets discover more planets, lets discover life on other planets!! Lets discover new galaxies! Humans have always been about discovery. Thats where the new discoveries are at! I probably just came across as a Star Trek geek or something lol. But I love talking about the possibilities of what we can achieve through a strong, unified space program.
Dont the Chinese want to build a moon base? If they do then they'll have to eventually build in a propulsion system to keep the things orbit from decaying as they add weight by building infrastructure - or just schedule all departures to have a correcting influence until it becomes a real problem. I'm hoping the Chinese stir the US into another space race, so long it stays peaceful.
To be honest, the US space program had already surpassed the Soviet space program in its actual capabilities, though not milestones. Particularly given the notoriously poor reliability of Soviet rockets. They landed quite a few objects on the Moon, including both a sample return mission and a remote rover in 1970. Both space agencies launched landers before either of them tried to land people. The Soviets also tried to launch a manned mission at around the same time (just two weeks before Apollo 11), but their rocket exploded on the pad. For an "impossible" task, both agencies did it quite often. Then you're a fool.
