I can get organized when i want to be. That's how I got all the degrees. I can organize people in movements and my teaching schedule. i would shift gears in classes when a pertinent topic came up in the class. I would say that we are studying such and such and event would shake the world and that is what was the topic of the day.

I can get out of the organized place if I see something more important in my mind.

Like here I will be posting like a mad women on a thread. In a great debate. I see a new thread that seems a better issue and I move to that one. I may never go back to the other one. If I post a thread and I like it I stay with it and respond. If I lose interest I let the thread flounder. I made a thread here that has had over 30000 looks. It is 210 pages and has over 2100 responses. It was because I stayed interested and kept adding to it. But there are some I make and they die because the interest is gone.

Cat stays with it. I made a few threads that he has posted on more than I have. He is really great. Katiegrrl0 that posts here now sometimes met him before I did. She made the intro. I know her in RL. Her opinion of him carried a lot of weight. She was spot on. I think he is one of the top 5 or 6 posters on this board.

Cat is a great poster. He does a lot of the research piece that I am not always willing to do. I post a lot and fast. I have always been of the belief that the more you say about the views you represent to the biggest crowd the more you'll get to stick. Then it's people like Cat that close the deal. You seem to use more of a caring common sense approach to debate. They all work and we can get our ideas heard.

That is a cute story as to how you arrived at the name you use. I like that. I said you were right in there with knowledge. You have that desire to learn all the time. That is true wisdom the kind I always see you share here. You are a big thumbs up here for me. Thanks for being as special as you are.

Well, if we did not arue or debate opinions we would all beexactly the same, and that might become boring after awhile.

I will admit as a person I am a bit lazy sometimes and sometimes a bit of a slob.
However I have, do, and will seek new knowledge everyday until I have left this planet.

Cat and I go back aways we have been on two differant forums.
He is a good friend and someone to learn from as are you.

I met a girl named Delores at Mardi Gras once we might have become close but I lost her while I was dancing in the crowd some 10 yrs ago.

I'ts nice chating with you Del. people on the net have always called me press for short.

You see a foreman at a factory I was working once told me I was pressing my luck, the guys I worked with started teaseing me about it saying "hear comes old pressing his luck again", eventualy it got dropped to pressluck.
I just shortened it somemore but if you check my post it's not that far off.lol

I don't pass judgement on anyones life. I stand back from that. I do argue opinions. Peoples value judgements for there own life are fine. I just get crazy when they want to infringe on me and my rights.

Until about three weeks ago I smoked just over 80 cigarettes a day. I am down to 6 to 12 right now and that is wearing two patches. I have a very nad heart and I should have stopped years ago. If someone wants to smoke more power to them. You should be able to smoke wherever you want. If someone doesn't like it let them move. I would still be smoking like a chimney if I could.

There are two different types intellect. I call one book learnin' the other is life wisdom. Many people have both. Many people have just one. I think that you portray the life wisdom catagory very well. That is the profound wisdom that is life. That to me is the important one.

Your old man as you called him has a lot of that type of wisdom as well and you choose well to follow those few rules. "treat peope like you want to be treated" and "never take anything for granted always expecting the unexpected". It's to bad some of those on this forum choose not to follow those. I am so happy that we have become closer here. Catawba has become a dear friend of mine. You are in that same place. I admire your wise ways of the world. You show a good deal of class and a knowledge of the world that many who have the book learnin' never find. They think that all the answers are in some book. The books and multiple degrees have only taken me so far. It is what I learned on the streets of the US and Europe that have made me human. It has made you very human an it is my great pleasure to have met and now from your words know you. You are a good person. You can call me Del short for Delores if you ever need to use my name. hugs.

I am being forced to stop smoking do to my health. It is not so bad. Maybe I will be able to get the stains off my fingers now. The education helps but it is not an end all. Education is not what makes a person smart. All it says is that you happened to get a piece of paper. I know a lot of people with that paper that are morons. They just got lucky.

From the posts of yours that I have read you have a lot on the ball. You are a smart guy. You have a lot of great imput into the reality of life.

I would tend to say you have a pretty good heart as well. hugs

In 73 I was hit in the shins with a night stick and it broke three of the four bones. I was bit seen by a Doctor for 2 days. Some cop wraped my shins in tape. They walked me all over the police dept after that. The bones shattered and I walked with a double limp ever since. It did hip damage over the years. They were never able to set the legs properly. Over the past 6 months I had to have both legs amputated. They repaired my hips. It's the first time in 25 years where I have not been in pain.

I did acid (a lot of sunshine) and smoked a lot of weed. Hell I even made the stuff. I did most anything that was around. I traveled the country with Alice by my side. We went to college at the same time. We attended Brown she got a law degree and I became a teacher. I was a professor most of that time. For the last 12 years I have taught graduate studies classes on non violent revolution and the era of revolt in America. I basicly teach people to fight the government in a peaceful way. It's a Sociology class for grad students.

I always come back to Ny or Chicago. I am comfortable in a big city. With all of the surgery and illness of last and this year I am retired. Alice is a lead attorney and research for the ACLU. I help her do some of the research work.

I left home at around 15 to see the world. I lived all over. I have been in jail so many times and so many places I can't even count. Most of my kail time was for marches and prostests. It was after a march many years ago in Cleveland when my legs were damaged so badly. I dabbled in drugs and drank a lot. Alice was the containment field that protected me from about 18 years old on. We moved in together when I was almost 20. We have never been apart. It's been a good life. I would not change a minute for me. But if I could I would change things for others as they needed. I'm happy that you are clean. That is one of the most important things we can be,

I am so sorry for that lose in your life. It is hard sometimes to recover that which we once had. Alice is my light she has kept me off the deep end many times in my younger years I was very wild. The relationship is marvelous. I will think of your Diana often as that is my mothers name. There is one out there that will bring back the feelings and the light. I am glad you have not given up on finding that.

I found that one person 36 years ago. In Alice I find my everything. My life is completed in her. Respect is the key word to life. If we respect we do well. You will find your spark.

Our central focus has us seeking our own happiness. If we just look around at others an help them and respect them we will be happier then we ever are looking inward. The spark that is romance allows us to be more than what we are for that one person. It would be a beautiful garden if we could just expand that to include all.

I would say that you are spot on. We are too quick to divide and pair off. Race, gender, orientation and nations. If spent as much time about being concerned with being human first we would all get along much better. I see that people younger than I am see the differences less. I haveing lived through the first LGBT, Womens Lib (the ERA), Civil rights keep trying to adjust to all the changes that have occured. I still see the past in cases while trying to handle the new future. We will get there in the next few generations I think.

It may just be that from a women's perspective we are more touchy on the topic. I see my failings as blaming all instead of the few. Thank you for your good health wishes. I do believe in equality. That is my goal. I don't want to see a turn around where it flows the opposite direction at all.

Thank you Presluc, you may be right! I know that you have always been a positive influence on me, and for that I thank you my good friend!

I may be back at some point, I will ask Doug to make my ban temporary so that I may be able to email him and get back on at some point, like the 2010 election!!! LOL!

Right now, I need to devote more time to my wife and work! I am serious about us staying in touch with email however! So this is not goodbye!

Well thank you. I am in the hospital as we speak. I had surgery yesterday and I was good today so they are letting me on the computer for an hour or so.

I will be back fighting closemindedness as fast as I can. It was so sweet of you to send me this note. You deserve a huge hug.

Oh, I am still little :( and still an autonomous individual of my family :D
Because I am a collage student(in law faculty) and I need my father to give the money ...

But I have great projects for future... For example, in Turkey Raspberry is expensive fruit Because the farmers generally cultivate another plants. But our climate is avaible for that....

Secondly, Chinchilla Farms is my other aim... :) these animals mushroom easily and it is valuable for tanning industry ... there is no farm in Turkey about that :)

Maybe you can support me with " capital " and we became associate

      I appreciate your kindness.
As for Eileene she had a big heart and was always trying to help people or make them feel good.
Much like you, Cat, and Lita and many others on this forum.
