I'm Rob and I live in Hawaii. I'm a veteran, I trade forex, I'm a market junkie, and I'm fascinated with ancient history, Rome in particular. I also play guitar, listen to rock and heavy metal, and my musical influences are Randy Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell, Zakk Wylde, Rocky George, and Joe Satriani. All more than exceptional guitarists. I grew up in Michigan (Lansing area) but got sick of it, so I moved out here. And guess what? The grass is still greener on this side. LOL However, I am seriously considering moving to Australia in the not-so distant future. Their government ranked as one of the least corrupt on Earth, the people seem nice, and they have a healthy economy. Sounds good to me!
Air Force. AFSC 3E751. Firefighter. 6 months in Texas for training, 2 years in Germany, 1.5 years in Washington.
I lived in Washington for a little while. It is beautiful away from the city, but it rains way too much for my liking. Plus there's too much gang activity and too many bad drivers. LOL (I lived in Tacoma while stationed at McChord)
Yeah, I'm watching for one. With everything going on in Europe I can't see it continuing to rally... LOL I usually trade AUD/USD and USD/CAD though... I think they're pretty easy to trade, comparatively. I use the 4 hour for analysis and execute off the one hour, mainly trend line breaks going in the direction of the prevailing trend as dictated by the 4 hour. It's simple and it works. I hate over-complicating things. LOL
Hi FX trader, I'm new too and it sounds like we have a few things in common. I'm an AF vet (flight simulator tech), a guitar player for 38 years (I love metal too, weaned on Black Sabbath in 1973) and collect silver and am a member of the Kitco forum. Nice to meet ya'. Thx
No. I would have, but my home state of Michigan is not IFSAC (International Fire Service Accreditation Congress) accredited, so my DoD certs were not recognized. No biggie though, I found my calling in the financial markets, plus serving for 4 years was a good experience.
