WTG Mr. Pinkslip! You did it again! What a condescending, smug arrogant SOB this j*rkoff is!
We know you're not concerned Pinkslip, but man, doesn't anyone in your party know how to NOT keep their foot out of their pampered mouths?

PinkSlip Romney in 2012! Express your lack of concern of humanity! Go GOP!

I'm not a big fan of Romney but at least quote him in context.

What he said was that he's not concerned about the wealthy because they have theirs. He's not concerned about the very poor because they have "safety nets." His concern is with the middle class which is feeling the brunt of the current economic crisis. He also said later that he'll address any concerns about the poor not receiving vital services.

Puleeeease...it was in the correct context. He just added in the safety net thing AFTER he stuck his super wealthy job crushing foot in his mouth. It was rather obvious what his brain obviously wasn't filtering quickly enough.

No it wasn't. You purposely misquoted what he originally said and his followup comment.

Ummm..no..his words verbatim there sir. The sequence words was correct. He "continued" his disconnected, super rich propaganda after he realized what he said. Quite obvious.

Obvious to you perhaps. But you puposely omitted the bulk of his quote and the fact that he clarified what he said.

I wanted to highlight his first words...not his poor attempt at trying to remove his foot from his mouth after the fact. The green ink must have gotten into his corporate loving head.

No, a lack of consern for humanity would be to violate one mans undesputed liberty by forcing him to part with his property in order to give an undue privilage to another.

Benjamin Franklin: “I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”

Thomas Jefferson: To take from one because it is thought that his own industry and that of his father’s has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association—the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.

James Madison: “I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.”

In sum you wanted to limit his quote to seven words instead of posting the entire quote to promote an appearance that Romney doesn't care about the poor.

It's Ron Paul who doesn't care about social programs that would aid the poor. Try taking a shot at him.

He's not going to be the head republican nit wit in 2012. PinkSlip will be, and he deserves it. He's paid for it.

You just seem bummed that the serial liar can't keep his feet out of his silver spooned mouth and sinks his own battleship every time he opens his smarmy mouth.

    I've mentioned it many times.

Here's the video. It's obvious that he didn't mean that "he doesn't care about the very poor". In fact, he even goes on to say that if there are holes in the safety net, he'll try to fix it.

There are no poor in America, just people who aren't happy they can't "keep up with the Joneses" next door, and expect Government to make things "fair" by taking from the Joneses.

It IS NOT WHAT HE SAYS, but it is WHAT HIS LIFE REFLECTS which shows readily, that he is not effectively concerned with the lives of those who are struggling or poor.

I do not 'believe' a word he says; he's like the crappy sinister employer who will use you up, then gladly hand you a pink-slip at the end of it all. Anyone who 'trusts' what he says is (IMO) failing to think critically enough about WHO ROMNEY IS (as illustrated by the fruit of his labors).

No, I just think that's it's disingenuous to take his quote completely out of context. But then that's just me, fair minded twit that I am.

he also said he is not concerned about the rich and that he only cares for the middle class

that means giving tax breaks to job creators to trickle down and help the middle class biggest voter base.

it looks like the rich will benefit if he is concerned about them or not.

His "plight of the poor" condescending attitude further illustrates his mindset more in that blip. Seems he think he is only running to be President of the very rich instead of "all" Americans.

Yeah, welfare will only go so far before you start working under the table to keep your benefits and resort to dealing drugs. But with free housing, free food, free healthcare, free electricity, free transportation, free heat, free cloths, WIC, student financial aid, and some spending money on the side, WHY WORK AT ALL!? And those are the benefits you get no matter what your skin color is. If your a minority there are even more avalable! We should all get on, as I heard on guy put it in a Taco Bell, the "Whole Obama Package."
