I am not looking for broad statements. I am also not looking for big wishes. I want to know who your candidate at this point is. Then I want to hear what your opinion on what he can do within his presidential power and with the approval of congress to fix the national debt. Thanks for your time.

Johnson is my candidate. If he somehow managed to enter the presidency, then he would essentially veto most government spending until Congress passed a much slimmer budget.

Sometimes, the only way budget cuts can be made is to force the hand of the legislature via vetoes.

It's not so much a matter of what a candidate does as it is what he prevents from happening.

The same is true when protecting civil liberties. All it would have taken for Obama to preserve due process would be to veto the NDAA until the indefinite detention clause was taken out.

We need to get ahold of a time machine... Then go back in time and DON"T start multiple un-payed-for wars of choice, DON'T create tax giveaways for big corporations and the richest Americans, and DON'T tell us that continuing these policies will get us out of the current debt problem!

The question is WHY do you want to fix the debt. And the only candidate that would "fix" the debt is Ron Paul because he does not care about the consequences. Mitt or Newt will spend just as much or more than Obama... simply because they don't want to send our country in to a depression.

My candidates are on pvsi.net. they will not do much, they will just listen to my speech when I put it out. sounds confusing, I know, but the confusion will soon end.

Spending isn't what keeps us out of a depression.

If anything, more deficit spending devalues our money, which decreases sustainable growth.

Please show me when the Government has cut spending significantly... causing economic growth. Cause unfortunately you don't have any facts to prove your point. And the reason you don't have any facts is because it would destroy the economy. Spending has gone down significantly twice in the last 90 years.

    1) 1937 trying to balance the budget. Economy immediately tanked
    2) After WWII and after the Govt went on the biggest spending spree in the history of America.

Otherwise, the Govt consistently increases spending regardless of their party. And they do it for a reason.

That chart doesn't have the GDP adjusted for inflation.

    On fixing the debt.

Mitt: I'll tell you whatever you want to hear
Newt: I'll take us to the moon and I'll create more government bureaucracy to review the government bureaucracy we already have.
Santorum: we will invade Cuba!!! Right after Iran!
    Paul: cut a trillion dollars

I do not really have a canidate yet, but it does not matter because I do not believe any politican that will get elected can fix our debt.

In order to get elected you have to say what the people want to hear; compounded you have to do what the people want to get re-elected - they all want to be re-elected therefore they will never take the measures necessary to fix our debt problems.

I believe the only way we will ever fix the debt problem is by not electing politicians - unpossible.

Ron Paul couldn't fix the debt no matter how hard he tried. It's easy for Ron Paul to sit there and say all the radical things that he would do. Getting them dont is a much more difficult process. And your right, he doesn't care about the consequences.
