And again I assume you are referring to the statutes in which I referred, which specifically identified only those born outside the United States.

If that is the only definition of Natural born citizens, then only those born outside the United States to U.S. Citizens are Natural born citizens. According to your logic, no one born in the U.S. can be a Natural born citizen.

Not our fault that you claim 'understanding' that is completely different from everyone else in the United States.

You can consider him whatever you want. You are the one claiming that he is something 'other than Black".

Just like your definition of NBC, your opinion is at odds with everyone but a very small fringe group who harken back to the antebellum.

    3. spent years of his youth in indonesia.?

Obozo is the weirdest president we ever had and that's why people ask questions about him.

No - that's not what happened. Both the corporate media and the republican party refused to talk about it. It should have been a huge issue in 2008 but only netizens talked about it.

Very few people knew about the cocaine because the corporate media censored the story. OTOH the press pounded bush43 over mere suspicions he used coke. The press won't do it's job re obozo.

Umm... The Republicans, right now, are trying to decide between guys named "Mitt" and "Newt."

"foreign name" is simply your subjective bias. What you really mean is "non white," because, as you have amply demonstrated, you harbor deep racism.

As a point of fact, the etymology of basically every American surname is "foreign," because they all originated in other countries and Native Americans didn't widely use surnames until whites came and gave them surnames using Old World words.

So, from a correct linguistic sense, every Presidential candidate ever has had a foreign sounding surname.
So what? Many candidates have fathers who were born elsewhere.

Mitt Romney, for one. Do you take Romney's statements as to his Americanism at face value? Of course you do, because he's white.
Again, many Presidential candidates lived overseas in the years prior to their election.

You think it's a problem with Obama because he's black, plain and simple.
Because he's black, right? We could end this if you'd just admit it.

Since they were ONLY talking about "Naturalization", they made the distinction that a person Born abroad to "Parents" is in fact Natural Born, and therefore does NOT have to "Naturalize". It was/is already understood that one Born of the soil to "Parents" was in fact Natural Born as well, but that was not a subject of an Act meant for Naturalization. My POINT being that, when they MEANT "Natural Born" they SAID Natural Born. You think the distinction of needing "Parents" who were Citizens changed simply because of where you were Born? Perhaps you need to ask yourself what purpose does such a thing have in the Birth of a Child? I believe any intelligent person would then come to the proper conclussion that it is the "allegiances" your "Parents" give you at Birth...

Now, again, SHOW ME where the 14th Amendment says ANYTHING about "Natural Born", because as we have seen, when they MEANT Natural Born they SAID Natural Born...

    You can't because it doesn't.

    Case closed.

There was a time, in this Country, that very few people considered Blacks full Citizens as well, were they wrong?

Same goes for a Woman's Right to Vote...

Seems the masses have in fact been WRONG on several occassions, in this Country, only to be "straightened out" long after the fact.

It took people with foresight and strong moral character to stand against the establishment and tell the masses they were wrong. They tried for years to right the wrongs that were so pervasive in this Country...

    And the fight continues.

Except that we're not talking about the same "they". The 14th Amendment was written three-quarters of a century later.

You're a great example of someone lawyers like to call "just enough knowledge to be dangerous." So convicted in your completely silly and baseless "legal" analysis.

And yet Mitt's Father BECAME a Citizen BEFORE Mitt was Born.

    You understand that, right?

How about Obama's? Did he ever become a Citizen?

"They" are subject to the SAME distinctions as the Founders, are they not?

Chief Justice Marshall explained that language could not be added to or detracted from by those "Judging" the Law. Are you saying Chief Justice Marshall was wrong? I believe it is YOU that is the "great example" of which you speak.

So again, if they had MEANT Natural Born, that is what they should have said. But they didn't...

Not my fault you don't seem to understand a basic tenet of the Law.

    Do you REALLY, R E A L L Y, think this is true?

That's crazy. Sure there are some people who have a problem with Obama because he's black. - Maybe 1 out of 50. The other 49 have a problem with Obama because he seems to be incompetent. We could end this if YOU would just admit THAT.

Hardly. Obama HAS been secretive about many aspects of his life. For one, he's trying to be a Marxist without people catching on. But it's SO obvious he is.

And what's with that habit of pinching/wiping his nose all the time. Is he still doing coke or is it just a habit from when he did do a lot of coke?

How do you know Mitt's father became a citizen before Mitt was born?

    Because he says so?

Again, puzzling that birthers will take any other candidate in history at their word, and yet for Obama they reserve some kind of ridiculous evidentiary standard which not even the proclamations of the official government record keepers is enough to satisfy.

And yet your supposition is not bourne out in law. The Courts and Congress have never made a distinction between someone who is a citizen at birth and a natural-born citizen.

You are attempting to show a distinction between the writings of two different bodies of legislature, 70+ years apart. The authors of the 14th Amendment did not include the word "natural" in their Amendment. So what? The laws of the country prior to the 14th Amendment state that anyone born in the country is a citizen, regardless of their parents. Everything in our legal history says Obama is eligible. There is no case or statute that makes the distinction you speak of. Ordinarily, when someone is the only person making an argument, and their argument goes against the statements and informed opinions of everyone else involved in the same situation, they will eventually reassess their position and determine they are likely incorrect.

Except birthers, because to do so would cause their heads to explode. The Courts, Chief Justice Roberts, Congress, thousands of legal scholars, and every Supreme Court that's ever ruled on the issue of citizenship ALL say you are wrong, and yet somehow you continue to insist you, a layperson posting on the internet in your spare time, have a greater knowledge of law and history than all of these minds combined.

The courts and Congress have established that there are only two ways to become a citizen in the United States and two types of citizen: Natural born and naturalized. That's the bottom line. There is nothing in our law that creates or deems to create any third distinction.

I was only referring to our poster "Speeders R Murderers," and in his case, yes, I do. See his posts about how American Indians and Africans are inferior, or any of his other thinly-veiled racist ramblings.
    I don't like Obama because he's incompetent.

However, I don't question his Constitutional eligibility to hold the office.

The number of those questioning his Constitutional eligibility to hold the office, who do so secretly because of his race, is much higher than 1 in 50, I assure you.

    George W. Romney

Romney was born to American parents living in the Mormon colonies in Mexico; events during the Mexican Revolution forced his family to flee back to the United States when he was a child.
    ==============================

Seems his Father was a Natural Born Citizen as well...

So it seems you are grasping at straws.

    Care to try again?

Like I have said many times and one of our first Chief Justices said himself. You cannot add or detract language from any Law, I don't care how many years after our Founding it happens.

And yes, I agree they are Citizens, just not Natural Born Citizens. There is a distinction, no matter how many times you claim there is not.

Why should women have the vote? They are not subject to the military draft.

The Right to Vote has nothing to do with the Military Draft. It is a basic Right given to ALL Citizens.

You're kidding, right? The liberal horde demanded to see the tire marks take when Lora Bush had an accident in her car before she met George. They wanted to see and did see documents that were faked by the MSM.

Name one president in modern times that didn't release the records in question. We had Bill Clinton's VD records and the liberal horde tried to catch up with him.

What has Obama released?? Post a few records that he has released..

    You're joking, right? Wikipedia?

So, for Romney, you accept Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia that anyone can edit, and for Obama, you don't accept any of the various official proclamations that have been made with respect to his birth.

You birthers would be sad if you weren't so funny.

Nonsense. Chester Arthur was in the same situation, and the issue never came up, because everyone and their mother knows that a person born in the United States is a natural-born citizen.
Who is looking to add or detract anything? I'm simply noting that no legal authority has ever made a distinction between natural born citizen and born citizen, despite over 2 centuries of precedent on citizenship laws.
Where has any authority ever made a distinction? Show me.
None of them have released "the records in question." You simply think they have because that's what your birther leaders tell you.

You can either address and refute what is claimed there, or you cannot.

    So far, you cannot.

And I believe Arthur was not eligible as well...

So much for your Theory that I am claiming this simply because you believe him to be Black, since Arthur was quite clearly a White man.

You and several Judges are actually "adding" Natural Born to something which quite clearly only says Citizen.

And again, no Authority has ever had to make the distinction, because it was never challenged and ruled on at the level that is able to Rule on the Constitutionality of the matter.

Again, I am not sure what YOU don't get about that?

Birtherism is just a dangerous distraction folks. Don't waste your time on that foolishness.

Barack Obama is an American and was born here.
