It's racist through and through. One of two things happened. Either the person who put these slurs up has clearance to do it unsupervised and used a horrid display of words or the person who clears the text for the writer is an utter moron. Brand name protection collapsed in my estimation. Whoever is responsible needs to be demoted to the mailroom.
Yes, a hell of a nice stretch, isn't it? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uvg-ug9CvE"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uvg-ug9CvE[/ame]
Please. The intentions of each are night and day. Cracker Jack has been around since the 1800's and is named after "excellent quality." The intentions of the editor were to use a common phrase (***** in the armor) and tie it in with Lin's race, using a derogatory term none the less. Night and Day. Even you should able to see that.
"Excellent quality"? As in all lesser races are of lesser quality? Listen to yourself Mugabe. You flat-out suck as a racial champion.
So according to your dictionary definition, Mugabe, Crackers are the most "excellent quality", right? Racism works both ways, buddy.
Which is why when this hit the media, Asian-American groups were the first to respond? Let's also not forget that the majority of Asian-Americans are democrats.
Race is such a deeply ingrained part of American society it is naive to suggest that it plays a small or no part in any given exchange. Floyd Mayweather got poo for suggesting that the coverage was biased on Lin's side for his being Asian, that there were blacks putting up those numbers every night. Floyd is right, perhaps phrased poorly, but race is a factor. Now this happens and folks wanna try and paint this as non racial. It's all race in America. It would be nice if we could transcend it, or at least accept one another, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
And of course like a typical liberal no proof it was meant racially and not the common phrase everyone with speaking capability knows about.
Of course, the history of Cracker Jack's has nothing to do with the thread. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cracker_Jack
Stormfront has a policy of not using derogatory terms. If you are off moderation and use those terms you can have your account deleted. You sound like your saying Stormfront is a bad place to visit when it simply is not. Only those that support WHITE GENOCIDE try and demean stormfront because they cannot handle opposition armed with the truth. Is that your problem surfer joe, is truth like kryptonite to you? So where are you from surfer joe,the maniacs and easily fooled morons at revleft?
why no outrage when the media uses the term derogatory terms redneck, cracker there is no such outrage from the cultural marxist liberal rats, dumb blonde jokes ,white trailor trash are ok by these anti white racist hypocrits but saying nappy headed ho and just listen to their whinging and moaning...they are like little bloody children. Hey liberal morons my mummy taught me that STICKS AND STONES WOULD BREAK MY BONES BUT NAMES WILL NEVER HURT ME.
Hey surfer joe you white genocide supporter and anti white racist, answer me this, what is it exactly that STORMFRONT stands for that is so EVIL,FRIGHTENING,SICKENING.?If you cannot answer that factually its going to show how little you are able to think rationally. So i await your answer pal.lmao...
First the argument but those guys are doing it, is the argument of a five year old. Second most of the "damage" against rednecks, crackers, and trailer trash is directly a result Jox Foxworthy, his redneck comedy tour, and members of said tour. Throw in Jeff Dunham and you've got 90ish% of the white hate in "the media". But those guys are all HUGE with your said besmirched groups.
Denying there are any racial tones to the headline is simply naive. The editor was trying to do a play on words, using the common phrase and tying in Lin's race.
I agree with the you, BDM. Using "*****" in the headline is offensive. It is a derogatory term. But I don't think, when stuff like this happens, that "heads should roll" or lawsuits should commence, no matter the political persuasion of the offender or offendee. It should be used as a "teachable moment", for the offender as well as the public, IMO(& an apology, of course). It looks like somebody lost their job, though: ESPN Statement
I think this is sensitivity on steroids. Talk about much ado about nothing. ***** in the Armor is hilarious. And if a single person in this thread wants to try to say they wouldn't make or laugh at a joke like that in the company of their own friends, I'm calling them a liar right now. The only kind of people who can't find the humor in something like that are miserable people who are so sensitive that they can't relax enough to laugh at anything. The world is only as serious as you make it. As for Amasian, I'd like someone to explain how that is offensive. It was a play on the word amazing. Meaning good. Meaning awesome. Meaning something positive. Meaning a compliment. Had they combined it with a negative word, I might understand. And I'm from Houston. I watched Yao for almost a decade. Do you know what his nickname was here in Houston? The Great Wall. As in the Great Wall of China. That's what the sportscasters called him on the air. No one ever got offended by it because there was nothing to get offended about. Everybody thought it was cool. Because he was this massive Chinese dude who was a total dominating force.
No it's not. Saturday Night Live did a hilarious bit about this phenomenon this weekend. You should see it if you get a chance.
***** in the armor its racist the whites don't get referenced by their ethnicity by the media like cracker in the box etc...
Could it be because you have the mindset of the Stormfront Troopers in your posts. What exactly are you. Or is it that conservatives don't care about race, because they are never on the receiving end of racism or discrimination.
