Romney opened himself up to derision for choosing a 70,000-seat stadium which attracted just over 1,000 people, many of them school children bussed in to help fill out the crowd, tucked into a corner of the astro-turf pitch. The small crowd underlined again his inability to draw large numbers of supporters and to excite the conservative base. Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul spoke to a beyond-capacity crowd Saturday in Warriner Halls Plachta Auditorium before Tuesdays primary. While the auditorium has 1,226 seats, many more attended, standing both inside and outside the room. Both the lower seating area and balcony of the auditorium were filled, with attendees also standing along the walls. A crowd of those who were not admitted stood in the lobby outside, listening to an audio feed of the speech. Paul was joined on stage by veterans of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He spent much of the speech decrying war and its impact on the federal deficit and Americas image abroad, saying the U.S. should consider a golden rule in foreign policy. http://www.cm-life.com/2012/02/25/ron-paul-delivers-campaign-speech-saturday-in-warriner-hall/ This happens everywhere
It's because Ron Paul supporters are activists, and Mitt Romney supporters are...propagandized traitors who can hardly manage to put their Spaldings on to go vote. bwaha!
No doubt they are all loons and just kids who want to get high. Just ask all the veterans of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan who show up to support him.
For further comparison, here's the 'crowd' at a Rick Santorum rally in Lincoln Park, Michigan. But remember this, folks. Ron Paul is unelectable and has no chance of winning.
Spefically closed ballot boxes. Like in maine where votes are not made public and totals are not accounted for and controlled by one man. Ballot boxes dont win the nomination, delegates do. Its still yet to be determined who has won all the states delegates. I would be bitter to if states moved up their primary , comitted voter fraud and still couldnt secure the win for the establishment choice.
People watch car wrecks and fires too. That doesn't mean anything other than the people are bored. Just because he attracts crowds every now and then, doesn't mean he will win. keep on believing though, but when the time comes, you should show your support for the winner and vote for Romney, Santorum or Gingrich, whomever it may be.
Romney leads Obama by 45 percent to 43, while Paul leads by 43 percent to 41. The poll shows the president still ahead of the other two candidates in the race: He leads Rick Santorum by 45 percent to 43, and holds a 49-39 margin over Newt Gingrich.
