His campaign is not fading away, its Growing.

In a poll result that is likely to get little coverage in the Conservative Establishment media, presidential candidate Ron Paul now leads President Obama in a hypothetical matchup of 2012 presidential hopefulls. Congressman Paul bests President Obama 43 to 41 percent in this Rasmussen Reports poll released on Monday morning. Mitt Romney also leads the President by two percentage points in this poll. Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich trail the President by two and ten points respectively. President Obama's overall approval rating has dropped to forty-five percent in this poll.

This is the first time Congressman Paul has lead President Obama in a Rasmussen Reports national poll.

This is a sign just how weak Obama really is! If Republicans lose this election they will have only themselves to blame.

This is crazy...the "Examiner"...really! Paul is going nowhere. You Paulites see one little sliver of light at the end of the tunel and start forming Victory parties. Relax...take a deep breath and repeat", Romney, Romney will win and paul will go back to congress."

Man, the reading comprehension is going downhill on this forum.

Notice that The Examiner only REPORTED the story. The poll was conducted by Rasmussen.

Another poll showing a female Dog named Lassie was leading the president by 2 doggie pts and tied with Romney.
Lassie commented that Romney had to go to Sharia trial over the dog on the roof incident 20 years ago..
Romney has apologized but Lassie wasn't buying it..

A Mass. Moderate can have no feelings for a dog replied Lassie.
Lassie went up in the polls after the FOX network showed Romney in his car.. presumably driving over a roadkill dog..or baby Fox
Lassie now leads by 10 pts and Romney's Favorable number went to -10 .

The poll was conducted by DOGSRUS Polling institute of Dogplain GA.

Ron Paul is too little too late. Romney is going to win and Obama is going to beat him. The only reason Obama is down in the polls is because he hasn't had the chance to do any campaigning, while all the republicans took shots at how ineffective he has been.

if Obama wins that will prove that the election was rigged. The establishment media is saying he has a 50% approval rating but the media always lies, its actually only around 30% around the same numbers that Bush had the lowest rated president ever his last term in office.many blacks in chicago have even turned against Obozo and admitted they made a mistake voting for him and have turned to paul.

I think it's ironic that you have the avatar that you do and yet you're so rabidly anti-Paul/anti-freedom.

I guess this goes to show us all one thing. That conservative establishment media outlets are completely out of touch with the reality of public perception on conservative candidates. The public is sick and tired of GOP games and the GOP establishment, Ron Paul included (he's been around long enough). They've put up no worthy candidates and no worthy ideas, and the public will show them that this year. Call it rigged all you want, but the right's trying to put up some career minor leaguers to beat the Yankees. It's not going to happen.

The Republican Party is completely dominated by the neocon worldview; pro-UN, pro-Fed, pro-IRS, pro-inflation, pro-fiat currency, pro-war (every chance they get), pro-big government (only managed more "wisely"), pro-heavy regulation, pro-EPA, superpro-DEA (there's a buzz cut Nazi in full riot gear drooling at the chance to kick your door down b/c you smoked a joint), superpro-DHS (Grandma needs a new diaper), on and on...

Amazingly, they lubricate the pounding down of these anti-freedom positions, institutions, and measures with one simple carrot - supposedly lower taxes... which of course is itself a box of canards!!!

I'm actually shifting over to the view that Republicans may be more hypocritical and more duplicitous than Democrats!! and seriously, heretofore I really didn't think God could conjure a demon more vile than a liberal democrat.

At least Democrats are honest about the fact that they want to steal everybody's everything, and give you 1 on 1 instruction on how to wipe your butt - incorrect execution of which could have disasterous consequences, it is only proper that Big Brother get involved. Creatures do what creatures do... sadly, 1/2 the country thinks that is proper governance.

The Neocons in the Republican Party have a more difficult task - they have to con people who are not so easily led as sheep to the slaughter. They have to actually neutralize a large base of people who would otherwise be predisposed to opposing the leftist agenda of the Big Government Party. Because of that, they actually are much more dishonest and duplicitous than Democrats.

The Republican misleadership, and the neocon movement in general, would rather see Barack Obama reelected than Ron Paul.

yea and during world war two, stalin promised the allies he wouldn't interfere with other countries

ron paul is not only a nut case, he's a liar

for example, he said that the constitution says that only gold and silver are legal tender

    the constitution doesn't say that

    Yeah, it does...

    Article 1, Section 10.

Also, as far as non-interventionism goes, the US civilian population was strongly against US involvement in WWII. The movement was led by Charles Lindburgh who was a national hero at the time. This led FDR into provoking the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor... much in the same way the US government is provoking Iran currently.

no it doesn't, article 1, section 10 enumerates the powers prohibited of individual states

article 1, section 8 gives congress the power to regulate the value of money and to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying that into execution

History will find Paul's comedic attempts to be president no more than a piffle.
