So the logic is:

Young attractive woman, who doesn't want to make money for herself, and instead actively seaks to find a very much older man, who will pay for her stuff =/= anything like a prostitute or slut. This is morally fine.

Young woman, who is actively seaking to support herself, to work hard to get an education towards that end. She would like to see her HC insurer (not the US tax payer) to pay for female HC (in some cases used as a HC treatment for ovarian cysts). This woman is a prostitute and slut.

This is the logic and reasoning of a man, who clearly objectifies young attractive women, just so long as the pretty young things don't have any opinion of their own.

It reminds me of this piece of comedy gold, which I assumed had little truth in the year 2012 - I was sadly wrong.

Insurance companies will never serve the best interests of the public.
They can continue to operate for the rich who have the money to burn, but for the rest of us, we need a solid national healthcare system.
It's already partly there with Medicare. We can expand that to become universal health care and then focus on rooting out loopholes and practices that permit corruption and fraud.

I understand that. I'm on the fence regarding the issue of BC in insurance policies, but this thread is not about that, this thread is about an indivvidual who crossed the line of decency and is now suffering the consequences.

The OP was mocking one of Rush's sponsors for providing "sugardaddies" for young women, and that is exactly what Sandra Fluke wanted; someone to pay the bills for her.

Where was the ad pulls from MSNBC and Shultz? He called Laura Ingram a slut.

Where was the ad pulls from CBS and Letterman? He called Palin a slut and called for the rape of her underage daughter.

Where was the N.O.W. criticism of Gov. Jerry Brown's wife when she called Meg Whitman a "whore"?

Where was HBO's actions when Bill Maher called Palin a "dumb C-word"?


The false outrage generated by the media to go after these advertisers is nothing less than propaganda... sadly it works on far too many zombies.

Rush certainly stepped in it... and he apologized unlike Maher and Jerry Brown's wife.

But... the really story is that a Democratic Party operative can misrepresent herself and then lie in front of congress and the National News Media won't even report that aspect of the event.

The woman is not 23, she is over 30. The woman does not have to pay $1,000 a year on contraception, she can pay $9 or less. She is not some innocent young student, she is a known hardcore left wing advocate that thinks sex change operations should be paid for too.

All this propaganda for the willing idiots amazes me. I didn't really know how intellectually dishonest and disingenuous the left wing and their National New Media really is. We have a serious ethics issue amongst the left wing and our media in the United States.

 

LoL. Rush isn't going anywhere. His advertsers will be replaced immediately and they'll benefit exponentially IF they are conservative. Frankly i'm glad this happened. I assumed his advertisers were conservatives. I won't be making that mistake again.

 

The real hypocrisy is by the National News Media and their coverage of the event in comparison of how they ignored Bill Maher saying worse about Conservative women.

The real hypocrisy is from no advertisers pulling from Letterman when he called Palin a "slut" and called for the rape of her underage daughter.

The real hypocrisy is the difference in the actions here compared to when Ed Schultz called Laura Ingrham a slut.

By his rationale, the women advertising on one of his advertisers web sites are sluts and prostitutes. But he doesn't say anything here, because they pay his wages.
