As far as we know the kid just happened to be black.

armed security guards don't have the same priviledges as sworn police officers in the use of force, their weapons are only for defense purposes.

police can more liberally draw their weapon when approaching someone suspicious because they are trained to keep their trigger finger on the side of the gun

if his weapon was holstered and he felt threatened it was okay but if he pointed the gun at him first and ask questions later he intended to shoot him if he made any sudden moves

There is already one gun in the incident. If the teen was the attacker and grabbed the weapon, the neighborhood watch guy would be justified in shooting the teen. It sounds like several neighbors called the police to report a fight, so let's see what the investigation reveals. So far, the man has not been arrested.

The dispatcher told him to stay away from the suspect and let police handle it. I understand it is hard for you to not openly celebrate the murder of another young black man but you don't need to make ignorant statements when we know for a fact he was told to stay away.

 

Let's try this a couple of different ways.

I bet it could be argued this was planned, even though not against this specific victim. I bet the shooter has applied to be a real cop somewhere and been denied. He studied criminal justice for four years, was self appointed "captain" of neighborhood watch, and loved to carry a concealed weapon. With some more information I bet it would be clear to see this punk had an itchy trigger finger and couldn't wait to use it.

 

They haven't released the tape because it shows a racist motivation.

If he was setting out to kill the black fellow, why would he even bother to call 9-11 ahead of time? Why not just shoot him and claim self defense later?

We know for a fact the kid was walking and being followed by Zimmerman. But hey, keep pretending we have "zero" facts.

 

After studying criminal justice for four years I'm betting he knows procedure and what to say to justify self defense. The fact he murdered the kid so soon after being told by police to stay away shows motive and intent.

So we have a 17 year old black kid who is a stranger to the neighborhood and probably dressed in urban cool threads walking down the road. Racist and wanna-be cop Neigborhood Watch captain sees him and jumps to the conclusion he is a likely threat to the neighborhood. He calls 911 and is told to watch and report but not confront and Zimmerman says if he does that the kid will probably get away (note the automatic assumption of guilt at this point).

So Zimmerman comes up to Martin and asks him to stop and answer his questions. He asks what Martin is doing there and probably asks something like would he empty out his pockets. Martin reacts as a black teenage male who's innocent and thus filled with righteous indignation and starts yelling back at Zimmerman and getting aggressive. It is at this point that Zimmerman loses it and pulls his gun. Martin does something silly like take a step forward and Zimmerman kills him.

There you go. That fits all the known facts at this point and doesn't make a saint or a devil of either Martin or Zimmerman. It does make Zimmerman a racist whose racist attitudes led him into a situation where he ended up killing someone.

 

We have no idea what happened during the struggle. If you have evidence and not just emotion-ladened speculation like all the other liberals, please post it here.

I would say that is pretty close but the racist warps will never consider the possibility the black kid was defending himself.

If a white man drives past a walking unarmed black man that armed white man HAS to defend himself!! I hope the shooter is wracked with guilt a whacks himself. That is too much to hope for.

 

Calling the cops and following a person on a public street is starting a confrontation in your world? What if, the teen became enraged at the act of calling the police and assaulted the man? Then, you would simply be part of a lynch mob here at PF.

We have the evidence. We know for a fact the white man was following the black kid. We know the shooter got out of his car and confronted the black kid. Now go ahead and explain how the white shooter could have possibly been defending himself?
