I don't listen to Rush but I find this hilarious! http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0312/74656.html
yes/no, I do listen to Rush, have for 20 plus years and have often worried he would somehow be murdered by his loyal opposition, but there is nothing new here and stations/advertisers have often come and gone over some mentioned issue. Admittedly this "Fluke" issue really stirred the pot, after all what do you call a 30 year old lady that wants others to pay for her sex life, but I attribute it to an electorate on fire and from both ideologies (Social Justice/Individualism) which has exploded since Obama has practiced his divisive rhetoric.
Exactly...3 grand for sex per year...those type of people usually are called street walkers. After publicly admitting she needs that money for sex, who is ever going to marry her? I wouldn't even talk to her much less touch her.
I have rarely listened to Limbaugh in the past, probably less than a dozen times in the past 20 years before the recent controversy. I still don't make a habit of it, but I think I have tuned his in his show more in the last month or so just to see what all the controversy is about. I would say I have listened to him for at least 30 minutes 6 or 8 times since the Fluke incident. Back when I worked in military recruiting we had a saying, "any publicity is good publicity". It never ceased to amaze me that following something such as a training exercise accident with fatalities hit the news there would be a upsurge in applicants. Seems as if applies to radio also
I listen to Rush from time to time, he's entertaining and usually spot on. I knew the advertisers that ran from his broadcast would loose. It was a foolish, stupid business move by any measure.
I usually prefer a more intellectual evisceration of progressive ideology myself, but Rush is often right about many issues- especially left wing media bias. .
I honestly believe Limbaugh. Neo-cons have an apetite for slandering, propaganda, and baseless name-calling.
There seem to be several conservatives or non liberals who are taking pains to say that they don't listen to Rush Limbaugh as of that is a good thing. If so they are missing a lot of common sense that they will never hear listening to the leftwing dominant media.
