YES LOANS! Luckily I'm not you...so on the thinking part...I'm set. Your a sad little kid. You have no idea how the election system works. ALL THE CANDIDATES WILL BE IN DEBT AND WILL HAVE TO PAY WHAT THEY OWE. Your messiah included. Donations and loans....they're BOTH required for a campaign. You think all money is free?? How wonderfully ignorant.... ...oh....like you just did to me? Oh I'm sorry....I'm blocking your hypocrisy....go on..... Yeah I read what I type, but PF has felt the need to remove the editing option from posts, so I couldn't revise the typo. Seems a little too smart to allow members to edits posts..... Endless wars? What endless wars? This sand skirmish is hardly a war. 10 years. You wanna be back there in a decade??? Quit whining and allow them to finish the job. I am one year younger than you, not even as I turn 24 next month, and I'll be over in that sand box quite soon. I'm serving my nation....what exactly are YOU doing??????????
According to the MSM who also predicted Paul would be dead last in Colorado to. How about we go off the numbers we do know, and not speculation.
You can't see it can you. Paul is NOT going to go into debt. He is a politician that actually doesn't want to throw other people's money around carelessly, but you keep support those that will.
Well at least you provided a link. I can learn from that. The other guy just chose to be a complete (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bag and annoyed me. Thank you +rep
Yes, and looking at the 2 most likely GE candidates, its about time people wake up, or we will indeed be left to choose from bad or worse. As far as I am concerned, the lesser of two evil is still evil.
you don't seem to realize that james madison approved of a $36 million issuance of paper money to help finance the war of 1812 and george washington signed into law the legislation that chartered the first central back or that thomas jefferson used bills of credit to purchase louisiana from france
Well, I believe Thomas Jefferson was never opposed to paper money. Also, if I recall, if a central bank had to exist, he favored a public central bank rather than a private one. James Madison was also never opposed to paper money, although he allied with Jefferson on the opposition to the first central bank.
Yes, for the states, not for the federal government, according to article I, section 10. Ron Paul misinterprets the Constitution in that regard, unless he prescribes to the belief that the power to coin money literally means to "coin."
Yet he has another avenue for arguing his point. He would have to justify the power to coin money to literally mean to "coin" legal tender. The problem with such an argument is this clause does not state whether whatever is coined has to actually be considered legal tender. It only has to be made into money, which is why Ron Paul wants to bypass this by eliminating legal tender laws in favor of competing currencies. Only then would his dream for "sound money" be a reality.
there have been lots of competing currencies in this country's history that practice was abandoned because it didn't work
Correct. Still, it has not worked primarily because of the multiple banking institutions regulating said currencies. I am sure the Federal Reserve could create a highly efficient competing currencies structure, and I think they should, although it would not be per say a competing currencies structure, but a multiple currencies structure. There are great benefits that can come from it if done right.
It could. That is why the United States dollar must remain as the reserve currency of the world. Still, we have some promising opportunities to create multiple currencies for various purposes, especially considering innovations in finance and the emergence of quantitative easing. I actually posted a proposal of mine involving such on my forum blog.
Right, cause those casting the vote don't matter as much as those that count the votes. So nice that you are so willing to allow voter fraud to happen.
He won the virgin islands. He is winning candidates. Iowa has the possibility of going to Paul. Keep thinking you know everything, just as long as you video you suicide when Paul wins and you completely crush by how wrong you have been.
ron paul hasn't won any state primary elections, not one do you think ron paul is going to be nominated by the gop?
WHY wasn't this all over the news???? oh that's right the media blackout of RP continues. Ron Paul or nobody at all!!!!
Not with idiots like you out here poisioning the well. But yet you haven't started one thread, not one, speaking up on why Romney is the best candidate. All you have done it attacked Ron Paul wherever you saw his name in the forum. just look at your sig. it's about Ron Paul, not Romney...lol...WHY is that?
