How can America be free if gays can marry? what kind of example it sets?

Marriage is not and should never be bound to religion.....There should not even be a legal institution of marriage.

 

I just had to say this but as a christian you need to be more understanding..
as much as I detest homosexuality all of the gay couples I have met are very loving people..they don't bother me and I don't bother them..let it be..

Yes and Jefferson had Congress import 20,000 bibles to distribute to its citizens. So much for separation of church and state. Laws were in place where you had to be Christian to even hold public office. So much for separation. After 9-11 the Congress and Senate I believe sang God Bless America on the steps outside the Capital. So much for separation of church and state.

 

some may want to deny equal rights to some Americans, but if some Americans privy to the same equal rights.... what kinda example does that set

 

some of the founders owned slaves too, used the bible to justify it... were past that, America doesn't endorse any one religion over another... we believe in religious freedom for all Americans

if America is ever taken over by the religious zealots, there will be no freedom for anyone, no mater the belief

The facts are there….even if you wish to ignore them. There is no separation of church and state…..NONE MENTIONED ANYWHERE. It only appears in left wing radical humanists minds….and well I agree with what Michael Savage said….Liberalism is a mental disease.

well people would be able to do one more thing marry the same gender that would make us more fair and would give a bit more freedom to some while taking no freedom away save for the fredom to deny that fredom based on nothing but prejudice

first, his support is far from an overwhelming proclamation or absolute law, only his personal view. second, "gays" can adopt. third, you sound quite foolish when you tell us your not getting a job until a certain person is in the presidency, first Romney has a marginal chance at best of winning, the election is all about money and our president has plenty. So why would you put yourself in the category of those who don't produce?
