Looks like the left was a little too overzealous in their desire to use this horrific event, which includes 3 month old babies being shot to death, to score political points in the hopes of getting Obama reelected. Did any other media sources jump the gun in blaming the Tea Party? Will they apologize?

They should apologize. It is atrocious behavior to sensationalize and employ partisan pandering when there are still people struggling for life.

They didn't jump the gun at all. This was deliberate, the information and message they wanted to get out is already out, an apology costs them nothing, the damage is already done the seed has been planted. Look how fast the libs picked up on it and spread it about...

Here's what we know so far......let's try to stick to the facts, as we know them.

Here's what we know so far:
    — The Denver Post has perhaps the best profile of Holmes. It reports that in an apartment rental application last year, Holmes said he was a student who was "quiet and easy going." Other tenants told the paper that Holmes was a "recluse."

    — The Associated Press reports that Holmes dropped out of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver last month.

Spokeswoman Jaque Montgomery said "she did not know when he started school or why he withdrew."

    — The Post says the building in which Holmes lived was reserved for medical students. The paper adds:

"A pharmacy student who also lives in the building told The Post he called 911 around 12:30 a.m. because there was a song blaring from the stereo inside apartment 10, where Holmes lived. The student, who wanted to be identified only as Ben, said he couldn't make out the song but that it seemed to be the same one playing on repeat.
"He also said Holmes kept to himself and wouldn't acknowledge people when they passed in the hall and said hello.
"'No one knew him. No one,' Ben said."

    — After a first look at public records, NPR's Margot Williams reports that there doesn't appear to be any prior cases against Holmes.

So....he fits the profile so far of the kind of person who would do such a thing. He's a recluse, a loner, and just failed at Medical School. Probably angry at the world.

Its no conspiracy, we saw it happen, they put out unsubstantiated information with political ramifications knowing it would get a reaction, which it did... Did I imagine all that? Do you need links to every post that used that information? You can play naive all you want, maybe you really are...

Don't blame all of the left for what ABC News did. This simply proves once and for all that this news organization is partisan and in the camp for Democrats. Therefore, they are NOT to be taken seriously....and one should always keep in mind that they are partisan hacks; not serious news reporters.

ABC, though, will stay with the gun control montra. So if we take away all guns, what's to stop this same guy from driving a car over 20 people?

I think the answer is more guns. Arm the people in the theatre! The only reason this guy was so brave is he knew no one would shoot back at him. The truth is, we need a George Zimmerman in the audience.

It's the same with every Organizing Against America lie spouted by Team Obama. The sycophantic Jurassic media just repeats and embellishes as the lie morphs into worse and worse permutations. The damage is done.

    It's the Chicago Way.

forced to more likely. This was once a respected news organization. Respected news organizations don't put out stupid crap like that and then have to apologize for it. No doubt behind the scene they were getting their butts handed to them.

Apparently before he left to go do his dirty deed, he left a song blaring in his apartment and a fellow student resident called 911 about it. It was one song, playing on repeat. Therefore, it will be interesting to see what that song was about. So....shall we blame the music???

An apology still allows the link between the Tea Party and this incident to exist in the minds of those who might never have dreamed of such an idea in the first place.

It might have been planned that way in the first place. Very slimy if so. And if not, then very, very ignorant of whoever started it.

Ignorant or slimy- not a desirable choice for the Leftstream media.

if that was the goal they would have left it out there longer

so those reporting it was dems or OWS....if they are wrong will you conclude it was clearly a conspiracy?

I believe once the story was reported in those jarring headlines this am, first thing they did was to id him as white. And we all know that tea patiiers one and all are white. now don;t we?
Conservatives don't ignore the facts of race especially with the BM (big media) reminding us all the time. The only time race is glaringly absent is when the perp is anyone other than white. You know this. Don't make others have to point out the obvious.

Is that important to you? He was also listed as "an American." Is that also important to you?

Unlike....the Hasan shooting at the military base when it was all hush-hush that he was a Muslim. Couldn't even say it, remember? Was that important to you....knowing immediately that Hasan was a Muslim? Because IF it was important to you....your president and current administration failed you as they couldn't even call it what it was.

The media should be ashamed of themselves. Nobody in the Tea Party would do this. :angered:

I just picked up the guitar and began playing Neil Young's "Needle and the damage done"

I wonder what would have inspired that?

so is your point that you didnt care Hassan was a muslim...or that you do care this guy is white?

or do not see any hypocrisy in not caring hes white, BUT caring Hassan was muslim?
