    Wise conclusions by Brewskier:

The left was practically already breaking out the champagne in celebration, thinking the shooter was a Tea Party conservative. Now they have to backtrack and hide the fact that this might be an OWS left-wing nutjob.

    This is poetry.

As speculation mounts about the motive behind the mass shooting, one private investigator has said that Holmes may have been part of Occupy Wall Street's most violent faction, Occupy Black Bloc. Bill Warner told how the Batman movie portrays the OWS crowd in a negative vein, leading him to believe that may have been a cause behind the gunman's rage.

Really? This tidbit here betrays their slant. There is no way his being in the Tea Party,(if he was...which it looks now that he wasnt), would have ever been significant with this Mass murder. Had we been discussing a tax related issue...then it would have been significant.

not here, and unless you are trying to paint a villian, there is no need for that phrase at all in the context of this subject.

I'm tired of crooked "news" outlets trying to steer society. Just report the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing news, and leave your opinions and slants out of it please. People can make up their own minds as to what is significant and what is not.

Not excusing the good Congressman, but we expect a few idiots in that chamber. Left-Right, (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s get voted in, and then sent back over and over from some districts. Maxine Waters being a flip-side example.

Stephanopoulis is far more influential because of the chair he sits in. And better is expected.

Exactly. It has nothing to do with showing support to those in the hospital or the families of those who lost a child. I can't bear to think of how scared they must have been...all they wanted was just to see their hero on the big screen, and were probably so (*)(*)(*)(*) happy to be out late at night with their parents.

A special night out, an exception to the rule and some (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) steals their little lives.

    I can't stop crying. It's a terrible tragedy.

My point is that the media and politicians will make it impossible for people to come to peace with the matter. Let me put it this way: If we're going to have a bonfire to burn the idiots trying to score points off this tragedy, then any idiot I find doing that gets their place on the pire, regardless of affiliation. I'm an independent, not a partisan. They're all fair game in my book. It's not about which side said what, or which side has bigger idiots or more of them.

So yes - shut them ALL up.

I have no idea how Rush was related to the shooting. Has ABC already blamed Bush and Palin? And they left out GWB?

Does the media reward mass murderers with non-stop coverage at the expense of further traumatizing the victims' families?

I would say yes. The endless 'analysis' (read as speculation) doesn't really add much to our understanding of such a tragedy. It just pushes worthy news stories to the side in favor of ratings gathering.

As long as the major networks judge the quality of their so called reporting on ratings this will continue. There was a time when the qualityof a story depended on the accuracy of the fact not the slant of the fiction. We have a country of blame. No one will take personal responsibility. Everytime something happens we look for someone else to blame for it. What we need are americans to do their job and vote to put people in office on their performance and not the tv ratings.
