Now let's not even get into the fact, that the Quran makes Jesus a talking baby. Which kind of defeats the purpose of Jesus being just a prophet, but that's not the point I'm trying to get at. The quran is 100% correct, so the word life is used purposefully here, thus Muslims believe Jesus died and was Resurrected. Which means Muslims believe in Christ's divinity.
Response: The verse refers to life after death, meaning the afterife, when Isa's(sas) soul enters paradise to live.
Some Christians believe that Lazarus dies and was resurrected, does that mean they believe in Lazarus' divinity?
Then why does it not just say he was raised to the afterlife? How do you know "I shall be raised to life" does not mean exactly what it says? The Quran is to be taken literally correct? And not to mention the Quran also says that Jesus did not die; So if the Quran is to be taken literally and is 100% accurate, then someone is lying.
So when you said you argument (Quran 100% correct -> Jesus died and was resurrected -> Jesus divine) was incomplete and therefore incorrect? If the virgin birth is so important, why did you leave it out when you wrote down your argument?
Response: Islam teaches that Jesus(sas) was a prophet of islam and is a muslim. He followed the teachings of Allah and spreaded the teachings of Allah (swt). This mde him a muslim and prophet of islam.
Response: The Qur'an also says that Jesus was neither killed nor crucified (4:157). Thus the verse in context means that Jesus never died so being raised to life refers to the afterlife. Secondly, the hadith collections also confirm that Jesus did not die and will return in the last days and it is then that he will finally pass away and be raised in the afterlife.
Islam teaches that the Christians named him Messiah after his death and against his wishes, but they do believe in the virgin birth and many other aspects of Jesus' teachings, and they revere John the Babtist as jesus' forebearer the same way Christians do.
Response: Islam does not teach that christians named Jsus the messiah and actually calles Jesus the Messiah in the Qur'an. Jesus virgin birth also does not mke him divine in islam.

Everything in the Quran has a purpose; It specifically says on the day of his death. I thought Muslims just needed to follow the Sunnah and Quran? Why do you bring up the hadiths?
Response: Jesus will die just like anyone else, so there is no difficulty in mentioning his death. As for the hadiths, the sunnah is from the hadiths.
You brought up Verse 4:157 then why not verse 158? So did Jesus die then raise to heaven? or was he just raised to heaven?
Response: Verse 157 clearly says that Jesus did not die, so there was no need to refer to verse 158. For it only shows, in context with verse 157, that Jesus was raised up to Allah alive and did not die.
good thing you're posting this here in the US and not in some muslim dominated middle eastern country. Otherwise you'd be missing your head about now.
Response: I clearly stated that Jesus did not die repeatedly and you just quoted my own words saying tht Jesus did not die in verse 157. Your inability to comprehend simple basic english is not a flip flop.
Response: Again, the post is in simple english in my view. Perhaps you can explain which words you do not comprehend, because the sentence is clear and in simple english from my view.
