I am saying that mitt Romney loves welfare, loves social programs, hates the constitution, kind of like Obama.

By all means mitt is more fiscally responsible than Obama, but that's not the point. With republicans choosing him there is a clear pattern of a consistent shift to the left in us politics. english translation: libertarians and social conservatives, almost sworn enemies, both disappear into the pages of history.

I actually just fell asleep for a few minutes on my chair and had a dream where I said something like the following in response to your post here:

"On a serious note, I'd like to make a distinction between anti-liberty ideals which deal with "social justice", and which deal with helping The Man. "Social justice" is increasingly sought after due to people living to record ages and demanding that their lives be subsidized-at the expense of the rest of the economy-for longer and longer periods of time after retirement. Also, welfare queens simply CANNOT put the dick down, even more so than ever before. They reproduce way more than their own good and essentially flood the economy with low skilled people raised in a home of failure. This makes it hard for people who really want to succeed, to get low skill entry level jobs and get a start. I may make a lot of insane posts, but these are all legitimate strongly held opinions of mine, in all seriousness. Public unions are also honestly much less productive than they get paid for because they don't have to persuade people to voluntarily pay them for their services, and that's another BIG problem.

However, I also believe that corporations are "raping" the American middle class, with beyond-numerous examples of thinly veiled crony capitalism. And inflation/quantitative easing, I do personally believe is meant to discourage average working class people from savings and investment, in order to help the uber rich get an even more competitive edge against small investors/entrepreneurs. Along with all the red tape which hurts smaller businesses much more than it hurts large establishments. This is the purpose of corporate lobbying, which is really just mini-governments meeting up with their mentor, the federal government. IMO.

The thing is, many people who *do* agree with me on the first paragraph on this post, *don't* agree with me on the second. And vice versa. Most people disagree with me on at least a few of my very strongly held significant beliefs from above, and that is a problem.

As for why I'm choosing to spoof "pure righties", it's because that elicits more of a funny reaction from people, as I am a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bag who refuses to be completely serious in most situations. Liberalminority isn't even remotely funny, just acts dumb. I like to exaggerate the stereotype of an insane vitriolic right winger because it's more entertaining to me".

Now that I've woken up from my dream, I'd like to say that none of the above is true. It was all merely a dream.

Satire aside, if you read my above long-ish post you'd know that I'm not a "liberal" in the sense that most social justice-enamored leftists seem to be. I just don't like corporate takeover of America because it's not even free market.

Wow, I accidentally typed this. What I meant to say, is that modern day corporatism IS entirely free market, because our founding fathers totally wanted a nation where corporate bribing (lobbying) of the government, to impose regulations that mainly hurt smaller businesses, was considered "free speech". And it's obvious that the federal government/men with guns, have zero corporate interest anyways so we don't have to worry about that.

You are a victim of the lack of understanding. I clicked like your post by mistake. people are being manipulated and for us/you to blame them is easier than to take responsibility on ourselves for doing nothing to bring change. it is hard what I do, which is keep trying with all the ignorance, but I keep trying

The fact is that Ron Paul is grossly over represented on the internet.

Our popular and beloved leaders: with the power of controlling media that is exactly how I remember communists were "popular" in that nation. they were all over television, celebrated by nitwits dancing around them. ditto USA toDAY.

You are right. The political crisis in the United States has polarized members similar to the polarization of members in a communist, perhaps even the nazi state.

It is very possible it's the polarization which is bad... If the US Right get their way, the US will be a 1 party system. Vilification of the Left is just 1 historic tactic that fascists make to cause dominance and suppression by their evil party.
