8.6% unemployment in July, 14.9% underemployment, less work force participation than in decades, more folks getting on the disability roles than finding a new Obamanomics job AND GDP @ 1.5% and he wants us to "stick with him"? Why? He himself said if he doesn't have the economy turned around by his 3rd years he's a one term proposition. Turned around means better off than when you started.

    Unemployment: 7.8% then, 8.3% now
Median income: $54,983 then, $50,964 now
Gas prices: $1.85 per gallon then, $3.78 now
National debt: $10.6 trillion then, $15.9 trillion now

That's not turned around by any stretch of 23 million unemployed/underemployed peoples imagination. Risk gambling on someone new? WHAT? I think Bernie Lomax, the dead guy from the Movie "A Weekend at Bernies" could have handled the economy better. Sorry Barry, you and the Democrats had and wasted your chance to turn things around in 2009/2010 when you had a super majority in Congress. But instead of focusing on jobs and the economy, ya'all focused on your socalist medicine agenda and ignored jobs and the economy. Your bad! But as the old saying goes, you don't get a second chance to make that first impression. 2010 midterms elections where you lost a historic 63 seats in the House and 6 in the Senate should have been your first clue. But no you pressed on with an asinine agenda and ignored Jobs and the Economy. That bill has come due and you'll pay dearly in November, so flail away like chickens about to become someone's dinner. 2 words can sum up Obama's Presidency and the Democrat majority in the Senate.....ALL DONE!

Will they talk about How strong that makes our economy strengthens the middle Class ?
Will they talk about the Nobel peace Prize for closing Getmo and ending the war on Muslims ?
Will they Talk about controlling NK and Iran and making the world safer ?
Will they talk about draining the swamp of corruption that surrounds the administration ?
Will they talk about Black on Black CRIME and higher unemployment for minorities ?

If You said YES to any of above ..There is cheap land for sale along the Gulf coast.

Gay Marriage..and war on conservative values is all they have.
My bet is most Gays dont drive..dont work and are not minorities..and live in Calif. and Minneapolis and Chicago.
Since the dems count on them as 1 IDEA VOTERS ..un caring with the ills of the country..

I Hope they are not that way..but Like others they vote color..and sex before reality.

Obama won't be able to get voters to "stick" with him if he super glued their asses to the chairs.

Unemployment was ONLY 7.8% because all the Bush Crash layoffs were ongoing!

Median income is dropping because companies are paying less while profits climb higher and higher!

Gas had dropped to $1.85 from RECORD highs because the WORLD economy had been sabotaged into a bankruptcy because of American Banking ripoffs and fraud!

Bush's trillion dollar Tarp had not yet been counted into the debt, the wars were charged in credit, and Obama had 4 MILLION additional jobless to deal with who had been hitting the streets as Obama swore into office!

And NOW the Right Wing and Republicans want to take the SAME actions that drove the country into disaster the FIRST time - MORE tax cuts from the LOWEST RATES in 100 years and freedom from rules for our corporate pirates!

These absurd propaganda posts are so over the top, only those Americans who ALREADY hate Obama will be fooled!

Cheap excuses. I'll believe that when you admit Clinton was responsible for 9/11.

You do know that 400 of the 600 billion dollars of TARP has been repayed right? You do know that Obama voted for TARP right? Or are you just trying to come up with partisan excuses for the 5.3 trillion Obama's policies have added to the debt?

Reason enough to try a different approach/leadership, reason enough indeed.

The national debt clock will be rolling over $16T during their convention....
I bet their speakers will be jumping all over themselves to talk about that little milestone.

This has all been said before in numerous threads on this forum. Why don't we wait for Obama's speech on Thursday night and THEN have a fine time dissecting and dismantling it? Right now this is the equivalent of intellectual masturbation.

You already know the spin that will occur. Even if Obama says something new or promises something more, why hasn't he tried it already?

Anyone think they'll run the "Hope and Change" and "Yes We Can" pennants up the flagpole again?

Oh we'll wait, but listening to dem operatives this past weekend gives us a pretty good idea of where Obama and his team are headed.

    1) They are simply going to ask (beg) American's to forget the last 3 1/2 years. They will be pleading for a do-over.
    2) They are going to attempt to poor fuel on fire concening the Rep's war on woman which they have made up.
    3) They will attempt to deflect from economic issues using gay marraige, race, immigration and lots and lots of class warfare.
    4) They will continue to lie about the ACA and medicare
    5) Words and slogans you likely won't hear; hope and change, "ask yourself, are you better off today than 4 years ago", fundamental change, you didn't build that, our system has never worked, we have a stronger middle class, God bless OWS, eat your peas, reward your friends & punish your enemies, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money, spread the wealth around, the 57 states Obama has visited or the Asian state of Hawaii.

I'm looking forward to the DNC & Obama's speech like a do a root canel.

Plus the biggest reason to find Obama and his Jokers a supremely horrendous choice.President Bush
had a budget deficit of $161 Billion in 2007.That would be 10% of Obama's biggest yearly
    budget deficit.
    Got that ... 10% !!!!!!!!
I mean this is such a No Brainer.
Obama is purposefully Bankrupting this Country, right before our eyes. His Joker Democrats
like Harry Reid belligerently Refuse to submit a budget let alone pass one.Paul Ryan
already has 2 Passed House Budgets.
Obama IS a Food Stamp/Welfare President. The poor are poorer today than any time
    in contemporay history.
It's not even a question of whether or not anyone is better off today than when Obama
took occupancy of the White House.
The question Now Is ... is there a possibility we can salvage the Damage Obama and
his Joker Democrats have inflicted on this Land.
It's a question of maybe being able to steer this Country back on course.
    Democrats are the Problem.
    The Lamstream is the vehicle.
The Masses must come to their senses. There isn't much time.

I think they are going with "Forward". It is a better slogan than "Look Back Over the Last Four Years".

Voters who voted for Obama last time will undoubtedly stick with him again, especially since both Romney and Ryan proved themselves to be liars at the Republican convention and are thus completely untrustworthy. Furthermore Gary Johnson/Ron Paul will siphon off voters in swing states who would have otherwise voted for Romney/Ryan.

Oh ya don't say.Well actually this President DOES say a lot of stuff. He was gonna
cut the deficits in half.Yeah right pal.You and yer Joker Dimocrats belligerently REFUSE
to pass a budget. That happens to be a duty of Congress.A sworn function.
Least we forget what Obama said early in his term about a " one-term proposition "
if the people were not feeling economic progress in 3 years .
Well that time is here.I don't wanna hear any new crapola. That's what Democrats
    always pull.

Some will and some won't. The hard-core devotees will support him no how incompetent or badly he hurts our country. Some are disappointed or disgusted at how poorly Obama has executed the office. Certainly there is not the level of enthusiasm this time around.

Actually what they had to say was quite accurate. You are just unwilling to accept the harsh reality of their words.

It remains to be seen how much Gary Johnson will be able to hurt the conservative cause. He certainly generated no interest during the primaries. Many that will vote for him would never vote for a GOP - other than RP.
