Virtually every Libyan already hates America. It wouldn't matter if the US gave every man woman and child a million bucks they'd still hate America.

My 'source' is based on ME living in......not just traveling through some ME countries. If you are a follower of Islam you hate the US.........period. You may smile and pretend to be friendly but that is only if you can get the better of an American some way. That's my opinion and those who would disagree can fill their boots.

I'm loving these threads over the last few days. It's showing how all the Rightists were lying when they have been saying that they hate Islamism but don't hate Muslims.

Thank you for being the second Romney voter to advocate war crimes in the last 2 days.

If a Reagan Republican was in charge, they'd cut and run just like the Cowboy Coward did after the Beirut marine barracks bombing.

If Obama does anything short of turning Benghazi into a big, gaping, smoking hole in the ground it will not be enough to avenge the death of 4 Americans on American soil. EXTREMISTS in the middle east think it's cool to (*)(*)(*)(*) with America, we need to make an example out of these blatant murderers so the other bloodthirsty scumbags over there can see why they're wrong about this.

You may be right...but that statement would also be true in most country's. Our "standing", in the world's eye, plummeted about the time JFK was assassinated.

So a couple dozen extremists kill 4 Americans and the proper response is to annihilate a city of a million people with no military targets in it?

That makes you number 3 in the list of Romney supporter war crime advocates.

We could call it "winning the hearts and minds" of the people. Oh wait...Bush already claimed that term. We'll have to come up with another catchy phrase.

Work with the Libyan government to find those responsible and bring them to justice.

It's better than your plan of murdering innocent people. Let me guess, you also claim to be a Christian don't you?

How about we call it "Arab Fall", inspired by Der Fuhrer's "Arab Spring"?

Get out of here, I'm as anti-religious as they come.

Well at least you aren't being hypocritical when you call for the murder of innocent people.

    Whoops. Try again.
Lunacy was them attacking our Embassy on 9/11.
Our own politicians did a "no political attacks" deal and we have to worry about some 3rd world country attacking our embassy because Der Fuhrer didn't have ANY military security there?

Fail. Now he needs to serve justice to the 4 Americans who died.

To you they may be innocent, I'm sorry you feel that way. To me they are thugs, they drag bodies through the streets over attacks on their religious idol or whatever you want to call it. All of them deserve to die for this attack, I don't consider murderers to be innocent people. They kill 4 Americans and you think they're innocent. It pains me to know this.

As a retired Marine I can tell you you're wrong on that. There are never as many Marine's on duty at an embassy,or consulate, as people think.

.... As someone who can read I can tell you you didn't read what I said.
I said he didn't have ANY military security there, and you tell me I'm wrong and then tell me there are never as many Marines on duty at an embassy as people think, I never said there were. I said there weren't ANY. We're saying the same thing here, I'm not sure how this makes me wrong.

    You are right:

The consulate where the American ambassador to Libya was killed on Tuesday is an “interim facility” not protected by the contingent of Marines that safeguards embassies, POLITICO has learned…

A senior administration official Wednesday called the Benghazi consulate “an interim facility,” which the State Department began using “before the fall of Qadhafi.” It was staffed Tuesday by Libyan and State Department security officers. The consulate came under fire from heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades at about 10 p.m. local time on Tuesday. By the time the attack ended several hours later, four Americans were dead and three others had been injured.

The Benghazi consulate had “lock-and-key” security, not the same level of defenses as a formal embassy, an intelligence source told POLITICO. That means it had no bulletproof glass, reinforced doors or other features common to embassies. The intelligence source contrasted it with the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt – “a permanent facility, which is a lot easier to defend.”

The 1 million plus people who live in Benghazi killed 4 Americans?

When did that happen? Also when did they drag someone's body through the streets?

Justice is cool, erasing an entire city just to get a couple of bad guys is not, especially when you consider how many more enemies this will make.
