First of all why exclude the females? are they not capable of doing the job? most of all why would we punish the children for the Fathers crimes so to speak?

I doubt it. I can't remember any candidate in history being attacked because his children never served in the military. In fact, I can't remember the right attacking the children of any presidential candidate, but my memory could be a bit off. Regardless, I'm pretty sure lack of military service was not one of the attacks used.
