Obama's Selective Service registration doesn't just have a bad date stamp on it, it's on a form that wasn't used until years later.

When the opportunity for him to serve cam he chose not to and ran to another country while our children died defending ours. That includes other mormons who were committed to the church. That is what we call a chickenhawk. A grown man is not forced into deferments he chooses to take one. Just ask any of the 100,000 of Mormons who Chose not to take one when our country needed them.

Beau Biden is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing lawyer in the JAG. In Iraq he handled legal issues. Thats not real military service. Watch the videos of inteviews of Biden talking about his year in Iraq, no tales of combat, no casualties, usually no detail at all except political stuff. Biden was a REMF. He went to Iraq to boost his political career.

 

So now you have to see combat in war to say you had REAL military service? I am not arguing that Biden took the easy way out im just saying non combat roles in the military had their place and are very important to our success. In a war that had many handicaps and legal issues because of an inept congress, JAG had an important role to play in serving our armed forces.

 

Not seeing war time is something the left (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)es about Bush's service. But now it's ok that Biden didn't see any?

Lots of people serve in the military, provide a very important and valuable service, and never see combat. No problem with me.

But don't run around acting like Biden did something great. He was a JAG lawyer and the son of a big politician, he didn't see hard times, yet waves his "year in Iraq" as if it was a trophy he can wear on his political cape.

And the idiots that compare Biden to right wing "chicken hawks" have fallen into the trap. The only difference between Biden the "soldier" and Biden the civilian lawyer was the clothes he wore and the temperature of the walk to his office.

 

I was just saying not combat roles are important to our success in war and as such is REAL military service. Where did I ever say Biden was great? Where did I ever compare biden to chicken hawks? this is an arguement you have invented for yourself pal. But since you started it, at least Biden served and at least Obama stayed in this country. I dont know about you but if my family was in need I wouldnt leave to another state to serve my church. I would stay and protect my family and serve god here at home.....

 

I lost close family members in Iraq. Perhaps if Bush had more respect for war and the true cost they would still be alive instead of dying over an illegal war that did nothing for our country but put us further in debt and kill our children.

As to Biden? I dont recall seeing him runing to france? but Hey, Obama has continued the wars and no doubt that is also because he does not have respect for the true cost of war. I didnt vote for Obama. I know its a hard concept for some of you but I disaprove of both Republicans and Democrats. Neither has my support.

 

I was against the first incursion with Bush I. I simply cannot accept the idea that any of these wars were necessary for the security of the United States.

No, I am not running for POTUS, am female and no one would take me as I would be a 4-F as I stated. You cannot join the service with an L5-S1 laminectomy and spinal fusion. Understand? They don't take people with congenital back troubles. Get it?

I would discourage my two boys from joining the Military if it meant fighting in any of these Middle East Countries as I don't believe any of the wars we have and are fighting there will do any good to change those Countries. We are wasting lives and money.

 

They'll grow up and make their own decisions. Ah the pangs of parenthood. I got two boys as well. I hope one joins the Navy and the other the Air Force.
