Right..... and the kids who weren't talked to about sexual predators and given the assurance that mom/dad is there for them are real easy preys..... Most kids as they get older and modesty kicks in gets embarrassed about their private parts and if they're not told it's ok to talk about 'bad touching', it's very unlikely they're going to go to anyone, even a parent..... Which reminds me, one of JS's victims said he finally told his mother about JS - or tried to, but she brushed if off..... so there you go - he had no one to go to for help.
