Tell us one thing obama did right.

Last four years nothing good... Tell us ( besides keeping people on welfare ) what he did he do... The country in way more debt... His foriegn policies suck... The only thin obama has is a silver toungue... No balls and very bad leader... Another four years of this crap, we will be surrendering ourselves to middle east...

 

He's done really well with increasing drone attacks instead of having more troops involved. He also scrapped the outdated Space Shuttle program and is subsidizing private companies to fill in the gap. Great job on both of those.

Depends what you mean by "done right" because I could name things he has been commended for by economists even though I didn't agree with the stimulus most economists actually say it did stabilize the economy, some people liked the fact he decided to bailout certain car manufacturers which apparently saved jobs or something I actually agreed on Obama with which was we should push more for a universal healthcare system even though it was heavily watered down but that's just politics. You could go into certain social policies like Don't ask don't tell and how it was repealed.

You probably could name certain things he's done right but I spent many years arguing with liberals about the things Bush did right. You could point out many good things with any president but it depends on your political views.

 

He has turned the economy around to the point where we are adding jobs every month instead of losing them at the rate of 750,000 per month like bush the failure was.
The housing market is coming back
He got OBL, remember 6 months after 9/11 bush the failure said he didn't know or care where OBL was? President Obama did care and it he found out where he was and did something about it! (had a republican done this you cons would NEVER shut up about it and you all know it.)
He saved the American auto industry.
And best of all, he pisses off racist right wingers every single day just by waking up in the White House!

Now explain why in gods name anyone would want to return to the failed dangerous policies of the conservative right wing nut bags that caused this mess to start with?

Wrong, during his first two years he had a fillibuster proof majority in both houses-------and what did he do? Rammed obamacare up our butts. He could have done anything he wanted, but he focused on socialized medicine and let the economy crumble.

 

So then you, too, agree that it is not Obama/"the President" but the Congress that we can blame?

Obama has done alot of things that I like. The Affordable Care Act is a big one. I don't agree with all of it but its a big law. My kids can't be dropped from my insurance til they're 26, plenty of time for them to get a career to support their own insurance. Denial due to pre existing conditions are outlawed. The 80/20 rule. Obama Care was a long time coming.

Yep and I read that more than one of those Navy Seals are NOT happy with Obama taking the credit for THEIR work!
I know my life isn't better in the 4 years since Obama took office. I went back to college last year only to find that tuition has risen almost $2000 dollars! So while I'm trying to get a better education to possibly get a decent paying job...I am getting myself into more debt by having to take out student loans to PAY for my education!
But then again maybe I'm crazy to think that at the age of 55 ANYBODY would want to hire me no matter how well I do in school or what my life experience (and previous education) qualifies me for!

 

I would not vote for b.o. for a million dollars [don't need the tax liability]. But the drone rocket killing have been a decent strategy. I would like a plan where we could do some captures and "interrogations" (of any type) rather than just killing them suddenly. But if they're out of range of a capture. Death is a good alternative. We need a few million more drones tho.

 

Well, he kept up the drone attacks on Al Qaeda. He kept up the search for Bin Laden and gave the go ahead for his kill/capture. He signed the unemployment extensions for millions, conservative and liberal, who lost or had their jobs swept away by this economic tsunami....

That said, and I'm sure there's more to Obamas credit, I still intend to vote for Romney because I think he will do a much better job than Obama.

 

Stopped the further collapse of the economy with a stimulous package and bailouts, fought a war on terror covertly, Obamacare, kept Iran contained, had over 30 months of continuous job growth, got the unemployment rate under 8% and is slowly building up the economy after a big hit in more than one market. Overall he did decently that is why I voted for him. Romney/Ryan are scary they want to take a big number two on the poor, working class, seniors and others why would I vote for that ticket?

 

The real unemployment rate, U6, is 14.7% and the GDP is 1.3%. 4 deficits over a TRILLION compared to NO president ever having a deficit even half that. In LESS than 4 years obama is RESPONSIBLE for fully one third of the 230+ year total debt of this nation. 230 years $10 trillion in debt, less than 4 years of the buffoon obama $16 trillion in debt. The middle east could easily erupt into WW3 due to b.o.'s incompetent and inept foreign policy. He has accomplished NOTHING to slow Iran's nuclear development. He is pulling out of Afghanistan which neighbors Pakistan, which is a political shambles and Pakistan DOES already have nuclear WEAPONS. With no USA in Afghanistan, what do you think is going to happen to Pakistan's nuclear WEAPONS???? And we have already seen that the American lives lost for Iraq are now WASTED. Since you have evidently bought into obama's rewarding of failure and demonizing of success, you must think he's terrific. He's the very worst, by far, the worst president in history.

Obama does certainly have some good points going for him along with some bad. I heard job creation mentioned frequently in this thread. If you look at statistics, you'll see that Obama does have a better record than Bush in that regard.

 

What total crap. A 5% unemployment rate is considered FULL EMPLOYMENT.

obama has reduced the unemployment rate by ZERO in 4 years and $5 trillion WASTED. 7.8% at the start, 7.8% now.

And as woefully incompetent obama has been about the economy, it far surpasses the absolute fiasco he has made of foreign policy. The chances of the middle east NOT becoming WWIII are almost nil.
