loool That's gotta sting man wow. That's not a jab, that's a down right upper cut. Oh man. Flash mobs was the first thing that came to mind when I read that.
LMAO I know right? What really stings is where Romney said this in the debate: "The government can't create jobs."
Here's some video from the event. Funny (*)(*)(*)(*).
"crass". Haha...no Romney has "class". And tonight we learned that he also has a great sense of humor too! Don't blame you for not being able to take his jokes though...but (*)(*)(*)(*) they were funny as (*)(*)(*)(*)!
Also learned that Romney was made to wear a tux...looked awesome on him, the slicked back hair was perfect too...looked like royalty.
Romney delivered some hard hits in this vid, at this event, but ended graciously. Even Obama himself seemed to respect and recognize.
Romney completely roasted Obama last night.lol I love how he took a jab at the media Of course rules of fairness have to be enforced, because what other safeguard do we have, besides the press? (LAUGHTER) And... (APPLAUSE) ...now I never suggest that the -- that the press is biased. I recognize that they have their job to do, and I have my job to do. My job is to lay out a positive vision for the future of the country, and their job is to make sure no one else finds out about it. (LAUGHTER) Let's just say that some in the media have a certain way of -- of looking at things. When suddenly I -- I pulled ahead in some of the major polls, what was the headline? "Polls Show Obama Leading from Behind." (LAUGHTER) And I've already seen early reports from tonight's dinner, headline; "Obama Embraced by Catholics. Romney Dines with Rich People." Transcript here:http://blogs.suntimes.com/politics/2012/10/transcript_mitt_romney_at_the_alfred_w_smith_dinner.html Second, find the biggest available straw man and then just mercilessly attack it. (LAUGHTER) Big Bird didn't even see it coming. (LAUGHTER) And by the way in -- in the spirit of Sesame Street, the president's remarks tonight are brought to you buy the letter 'O' and the number $16 trillion. (LAUGHTER)
Yea Romney did good. ..and we can't forget the way McCain killed it too.
I'd rather have a POTUS who can be "crass" when speaking the TRUTH than a POTUS who's an absolute FAILURE......
Romney was absolutely great on his delivery and timing. His one liners were stinging to the bone. LOL! Obama looked like he didn't want to be there, but what I find most entertaining is reading the liberals on this thread who can't for one second put down their partisan hatred of someone they disagree with politically and appreciate some good roasting humor. Obama is usually great at his delivery of a joke, but last night it seemed to lack for some reason. I also think his joke writers were kind of lame on the material they wrote for him.
