Everyone notices Fox News manipulates math to give their listeners hope. Throughout Obama's lead up to the election, if I brought up the Obama lead the Fox Junkies would pop their head up to say, "No he doesn't. That's just what mainstream media is saying" This clip shows one of them actually woke up from the brainwash for a second and questioned the machine.

I was listening today and the reporter DID NOT say, "Fair and Balanced". He said, "We report. You decide." I can't find anything online that says they actually did change their slogan. They obviously should, it's a joke.

FOX is no different in it's biases and fairness than MSDNC.

Which is why anyone with any analytical capacity should not take their news from one single source, but from several, rather than that which most closely suits their political bias.

You have to understand that for a lot of conservatives, FOX is like a security blanket. It's confirmation bias and narrative building all rolled into one, and if there's one thing we know about our conservative friends, they don't like to hear opposing viewpoints. Anyone asserting that FOX News isn't biased either has some skin in the game, or a severe mental handicap. All their primetime opinion hosts are right wing, their morning show is right wing, and their "straight" news focuses on narratives built up by the opinion hosts, and selectively ignores information (*)(*)(*)(*)ing to Republicans. For example, Fox News barely covered the Richard Mourdock comments, or the 47% remarks by Romney, but has focused heavily on Benghazi.

    I fully agree.

I just think Conservatives could come up with a better news source. Their argument at core is better than Liberals if they would use their brain power instead of lies, hate, panic mongering etc. of Fox News

You mean like the news source the Libs got, believing that all Romney did was export factories out of the country. How often did they tell that lie?

Fox is far from perfect, but it's about the only news station that will dig into Obama's dealings and policies. The others are to busy kissing up to him. It's for sure Republicans have little choice as to know both sides. You sure aren't going to get it from the likes of MSNBC, or to a lesser extent, CBS and ABC.

Lets look at a bunch of other lies and half truths the Left leveled on Romney.

    .factcheck.org

A new ad from the Obama campaign takes aim at Mitt Romney’s performance as governor of Massachusetts, claiming he had “one of the worst economic records in the country.” But the ad overreaches with several of its claims.
■The ad states that job creation in Massachusetts “fell” to 47th under Romney. That’s a bit misleading. Massachusetts’ state ranking for job growth went from 50th the year before he took office, to 28th in his final year. It was 47th for the whole of his four-year tenure, but it was improving, not declining, when he left.
■The ad’s claim that Romney “cut taxes for millionaires” isn’t as black-and-white as billed. Romney opposed a plan to impose a capital gains tax retroactively, insisting on delaying the hike eight months. That’s different than pushing for a tax cut.
■The ad claims that Romney raised taxes on the middle class. It’s true that Romney imposed a number of fees, but none of them targeted middle-income persons. Also, Romney proposed cutting the state income tax three times — a measure that would have resulted in tax cuts for all taxpayers — but he was rebuffed every time by the state’s Democratic Legislature.
■The ad claims Romney “left the state $2.6 billion deeper in debt.” It’s true that long-term bond debt — used for capital improvements — rose under Romney, as it had in the years before he took office. But Romney wasn’t piling up yearly deficits to support operating expenses the way the federal government is, because Massachusetts requires balanced budgets.
■The ad claims that when Romney was governor, “Massachusetts lost 40,000 manufacturing jobs, a rate twice the national average.” That’s close to true, but the state lost a greater number of manufacturing jobs in the four years before Romney took office, and more in the four years after he left. In fact, the rate of job loss in manufacturing slowed during Romney’s time as governor.
■The ad claims Romney “outsourced call center jobs to India.” Not exactly. What he did was veto a measure that would have prevented the state from doing business with a state contractor that was locating state customer-service calls in India. Democrats who controlled the Legislature could have overridden the veto, but didn’t. The veto was supported by leading newspapers as a savings to taxpayers.

They and the Obama crowed made it sound like that was mostly what his business did, to outsource jobs. It was a big lie.

You notice how all of them have refused to look into the lies this administration has been telling about the Libyan attack. Fox is the only one following and reporting on it.

So you fell for the Fox News brainwash. No suprise. I have an entire thread here about it. The United Nations called for this response and the American Government did what we are supposed to do when playing as a team in a world of teammates.

(Note that when I said I have an entire thread about it I just saw the topic and didn't notice that this was the thread addressing directly what you are talking about)

The bible clearly states never sin or else you will be declared a Democrat...whats that..........I'm being told now by god that everyone in the world sins but in different ways.........this is breaking news..........I am reporting to you from 1930........back to you, today"

Since when do we let the UN tell us how to respond to an attack on our people? Since when is it ok to keep lying about it?

At first I thought you were talking about the drone strikes. The ones the UN called for. The one fox news junkies were crying about before the new one on us.

Fox is the only one reporting the "cover-up" of Benghazi because other news sources wait for facts to report them. They also realize that if it is being covered up it may be because it was an "under-cover" operation. Sometimes the operations are still in progress and if the operation is exposed it can jepardize the life of the agents working undercover.......via Fast and Furious.
