The cons number one priority for the last four years, has been to make Obama look bad so the GOP can get back in the White House.

So instead of helping to bring America out of the hole the cons made the first eight years of this century, they have spent all of their energy obstructing all of Obama's efforts for an economic recovery.

That is not only sleazy, but also anti-American and stupid. To think that the voters would want to reward sleaze with a victory in November is also taking America for a bunch of morons. Geez, I hope the voters aren't as stupid as cons want them to be.

    <<< MODERATOR EDIT: OFF TOPIC/TROLLING >>>
Obstructing obama's efforts for a recovery? You got to be kidding. Obama's political ideology needs for our economy to stay mired with depression like results--thus the cloward/piven strategy to get everyone dependent on government so that there is never a rich or wealthy class of Americans. Once that plan is accomplished (as has been obama's only wish) then full blown socialism/progressivsm takes root and thus ensuring democrat power for a long time. And pretell how any Republican or Conservative would offer their votes and or support in congress to help further erode and destroy the America we normal people love and cherish by going along with obama's national suicide pact? Get real pal, these leftists are destroying America; they certainly aren't going to get any help from the Republicans to abide with your death wish(es).

And because of that abject and sinister agenda... the number-one priority of this American (me), will be to promote/support any reasonable Liberal, Progressive I can for the remainder of my life.

I was a Democrat who voted Republican (from time-to-time) 24 or so years ago... but now, after the evil shenanigans I've seen from Republicans in the last 12 or so years... I don't intend to vote for a "Conservative" ever again. :(

So if you don't do whatever the democrats want then you are being obstructionist?

Seems to me that Obama and the democrats are the ones that refuse to compromise. How much of the republican legislation does Harry Reid just simply kill in the Senate without having discussion on it? Has Obama been calling in the republicans to try and negotiate compromises? Did he do this with healthcare?

In 2010 the republicans showed how they are willing to compromise on the tax issue by giving the democrats an extension to unemployment benefits for it. Are the democrats approaching the republicans with a new deal? No, they are simply refusing to negotiate at all.

Currently there are 372 pieces of legislation passed by the House which the Senate has refused to take any action on. http://www.opencongress.org/articles/view/2044-The-Bills-Left-Behind so you need to make sure that you are placing the blame where it belongs and that would be on the democrats.

Did you HEAR/SEE the Republicans over the last 4 years?!!

If people think things through reasonably, they will probably NOT gravitate toward Republicans for solutions to problems within this nation.

Did you see the democrats after they took Congress in 2006?

Would you like to see a list of stuff they blocked most notably any action to head off the housing crisis?

Republican politicians are dragging this country down. I don't agree with everything Obama has done, but even when it's things that republicans actually claim to stand for and want, they often won't work with him because they truly don't care about America and want to make the first black president (or any democrat president) look so bad that they don't care if the screw over America in the process. They are all scum.

......from stopping ObamaCare to Cap & Tax to Card Check....

Would you preferred they defied The Will of The People like The Kenyan Tyrant?

And you think that the democrats love their republican Presidents and do everything in their power to make them look good?

Of course not, both sides always try to get the current opposition guy out and their own guy in. Why you think this is newsworthy now is strange. At least the republicans admitted that they are doing what both sides have always done so I'd say at least the republicans are being honest.

Something the left seems to have a hard time doing.

For two long and miserable years the Democrats controlled everything. They could have passed anything they wanted to, but instead chose to jack up the cost of health care (Affordable Care Act), kill any chance for small businesses to obtain credit (Dodd-Frank) and loot the Treasury to fund their cronies desire to build Rube Goldberg green energy widgets that do not work, are impractical and have little or no chance of economic feasibility (The stimulus Fiasco). All the Democrats needed to do was to make something or anything better, and they failed miserably. So the first two years were wasted by the Democrats and the Democrats alone.

In 2010, the American public had enough and sent a record number of Republicans to the House, not to help the Democrats continue their destruction of America, but to prevent it. Obstructionism was the mandate of the 2010 election and the House Republicans were true to their mandate. Good for them! And what happened after 2010 to the economy? The economy went out of free fall and entered a low burn stasis, primarily because businesses like gridlock.

Did that mean that nothing should get done? Of course not. But the Democrats still control the Senate and the Presidency, and if they cared about the American people, they would craft reasonable bills that could garner bipartisan support. That hasn't happened. But since the Democrats still control the largest interest in the government, one would assume that the burden of crafting bipartisan bills would be theirs.

Certainly not the veterans they're stiffing.

Even a few republican politicians are calling them out on their idiotic rebelliousness.

Oh Jesus, do we have a crazy birther here?

lol, BS. Show me a time when democrats voting time and time again against things they claimed to stand for only to drag the country down to make a republican look bad.

....the same overwhelming majority that delivered Nov. 2,2010--The Largest Political Ass Whooping in History.

My point was the whole post, not just the first line.

The Shrub policy was the con ideology of "DEREGULATION" of Wall Street, and banks, that caused the economic collapse. the libs are NOT continuing that ideology.

If the libs were continuing con ideology, then why would the cons bother running against them? Your argument is as lame as con ideology, and their claim to be fiscally responsible.

What total BS! Obama and the Democrats had a near super majority in both houses in 2009 and 2010. The passes the stimulus without a single Republican vote in the House and 3 Democrats (Collins, Snowe and Specter) in disguise in the Senate. Please don't blame Republicans for anything that didn't get done in the first two years of Obama's presidency, they had enough seats to pass anything they wanted.

You either don't know what you're talking about, or you are doing the B.S....For there to be a filibuster proof Senate, the minority party has to have less than 40 votes.

Obama looks like sh*t on his own, no one would have to even try to make him look bad - all you have to do is look at his own policies and not get all your "news" from Bill Maher or the Ed Shultz show to see what a disaster he is.

Libs OTOH have tried desperately to make Romney look bad but haven't even come close.

Reminds me of the hole democrats dug for republicans in 2002 by voting to authorize Bush's war in Iraq, only to later campaign as anti war candidates who were mislead. in the battle of hypocrisy both parties are tied in my view.

Thank God for republicans. I can't even imagine how much worse shape this country would be in today, if they would have allowed these progressive marxists have their way. Thank you republicans, now impeach these criminals.

Negativity and dilution to reality is only a prescription for a replay of the 2012 election again in 2016. Impeachment is fantasy land. We won, you lost.
