Quick question for everybody

I have a simple question for everybody on the our dear political community here something. I have heard a lot of negative talk about Barack Obama. just down right hatred speak from people. I have heard him be called the worst president this country has ever seen. people claim he was raised by Islamist extremist in kenya, i have heard some down right laughable stuff. yet he wins in a landslide over Mitt Romney. so my question is simple, why do all these people consider Barack Obama a bad president?

 

Obama care for one!

 

He lost the popular vote. He won because he got all of the key states.

 

I've listed the reasons I hate Obama a bazillion times, so this is gonna be a quick and lazy list.

Corporatist health care(Obamacare)
Signed NDAA
Signed Patriot Act
Supported Banker Bailouts
Re-appointed Ben Bernanke, the retarded Robin Hood, who steals from every class to give to the uber rich
Escalated Afghanistan war
Got involved in Libya, another illegal war, turning on Gaddafi for shady reasons
Supports the war on drugs
Is bought and paid for by global banks

Etc, etc. I'll add a new, irrelevant reason for the hell of it. He's a huge NBA fan, as am I, and he thinks Derrick Rose is a better point guard than Chris Paul. What a dumbass.

 

I asked why is he a bad president. not why dont you like him. so why is he a bad president?

 

The reasons I hate him are the reasons why he's a terrible president, all listed in my first post.

1; Bush signed the partiot act in 2002.
2; Bushed bailed out the bankers Obama was not even in office yet.
3; Gaddafi deserved what he got for the things he did to his people. Plus, Obama never actually sent troops into Libya. He send bombers for a few weeks, but the US never actually got involved in the war.
4; The NDAA is a good thing. If we had had it in 2002, Bush would not have been allowed to hide how much he was spending on the wars, and would have been held accountable for it.
5; Obama never wanted the insurance mandate. The republicans forced it into Obama in place of the public option. Yes, Obama did prove himself to be a corporatist by accepting the change without even trying to fight it, but the Republicans are just as bad.

1. He re-extended the Patriot Act
2. Obama supported the bailouts, you can bet your ass he'd have done it if he was in office, he said as much. QE3 is a bailout, really.
3. The Libyan people were better off with him. A big majority supported him anyway. And bombers=getting involved with the war.
4. NDAA allows for indefinite detention of US citizens, a huge blow to due process. An absolutely (*)(*)(*)(*)ing terrible thing.
5. Like you said, Obama didn't fight it, he wanted it. And I agree, the Republicans are just as bad.

NDAA does more than that. It prevents wars from being kept off of the budget. I of course do not support indefinite detention, but Bush already did that in the form of rendition way before NDAA was passed. So, it can be done even without a law allowing it.

 

Obama is a postmodern liberal who believes big govt. should help losers who make poor life decisions.

 

He's a corporatist, just like Mitt Romney is.

 

That provision supersedes any good the rest of the bill may have done.

I hate him because he is just another politician, all politicians are equally worthless to me. They do not serve America, they serve themselves and their masters. If I had the means I would resurrect and unleash Stalin himself on the bastards.

Better question is why, if he's so awful, can they not come up with anything better to beat him? It ought to be easy to beat someone so awful..I'd think....especially with a party of the caliber of the right wing...right?

The right is kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel. Their options are not very good at the moment in terms of solid candidates.

Really, if Romney was their best its not saying a whole lot.
