Who didn’t see this one coming? Hamas, at no time had any intention of following through with any peace talks or a ceasefire. This is the crap that they that they pull-; do a ceasefire and then break it. If I was in Netanyahu position, I would unleash the Israeli military and just level Gaza in to nothing. And then just tell the world to (*)(*)(*)(*) off. At that point, nothing is going to happen to Israel. No embargo, no un sanctions, no nothing. What you will see is the world come out and say that was wrong, and blah, blah, blah.

With what Israel could pull off, they are showing a great amount of restraint towards Hamas and Gaza.

You are correct and I've encountered many times, even on television, the rationalization that missles fired from Gaza are undirected and therefore not very accurate, so any Israeli military reaction will be disproportionate...which is like saying I can fire a gun into an office building as long as I don't hit too many people.
