There are no ideologies. Every ideology can be manipulated into another ideology after a matter of time. The only thing which matters is how it's presented.

I have experienced conservatives turn liberal on the basis of rugged individualism who no longer care about affirmative action and don't mind forcing people to be taxed to assume the risk of government programs gone bust.

I have experienced liberals turn conservative on the basis of diversity who no longer have faith that government institutionalization protects freedom.

In the end, all politics depend on two things: people's biases, and people's interpretations of words.

Understand these things, and you can manipulate anyone to believe in anything as long as they're not stubborn. If they are stubborn, however, their stubbornness will destroy themselves at the expense of shielding you away. They will lock down and close off their own thoughts just to prevent you from controlling them.

All politics is dogma. It is an art, not a science. Discover someone's inner form, and you can form any idea to fit.

Of course there are different ideologies. Just because someones opinions change doesn't mean the ideologies do not exist. Take this quote from your post:

What you've proven here is that the ideologies do in fact still exist but it is the individuals beliefs that that have changed. If the conservative turns liberal is doesn't mean that conservatives no longer exist it simply means he has joined the other side. Your not manipulating conservatism into liberalism your just bringing the individual from one realm to the other. The realms remain the same.

    Silly post.

No... what I'm saying is there's something deeper than ideology out there. There is a deeper temperament in people which will convince them to flip their ideology depending on how beliefs reflect that temperament.

People believe in ideologies which reflect who they are on the inside. If you can show that an ideology doesn't really reflect who someone is, or you can show an ideology that better reflects someone's inner temperament, even the ideology can change.

Unfortunately, some people hate thinking too much. They become stubborn and lock down.
