If memory serves me correctly about 120K women and minorities have benefited from Affirmative Action in employment and education per year on the average since it's inception about 50 years ago. That 120K/yr is an insignificant number when we address racial and gender discrimination in America. Even with Affirmative Action blacks and women are paid less than white males for the same work. A black man with an MBA (Master degree in business adminstration which is perhaps the most cherished of college degrees) averages less compensation than the average white male with any four-year bachelor's degree.

Everyone agrees that it would be better if Affirmative Action didn't need to exist but as long as racial and gender discrimintion exist it is necessary. End the racism and gender discrimination and the need goes away. The same is true for welfare. Eliminated the need for welfare and it goes away. As long as the need exists then we have a responsibility to provide for the need. We can't cut the funding as long as the need exists.

 

Nonsense. The American way of life will endure and Whites will be gifted with a reservation, a tribal homeland where they can preserve their rich heritage - golf, lawn mowers, light beer, canasta, fruit cake, etc.

In the not too distant future, Americans will be able to drive through Utah and stop at some quaint little roadside stands where a colorless native will eagerly sell them artifacts and trinkets - You'll be able to pick up a carton of Rolexes or a signed Wayne Newton 8x10 glossy for a song!

Democrats are all minority black's, red's, mexicans and the like. They only vote Democratic because they get free things like food and shelter. But when I fire a minority to hire a child overseas for some reason it costs me more money to pay for their welfare! How crazy is that! Today whites are the majority. However, in the year 2011 the number of non white babies born in the US outnumbered the number of white babies. In 20 years, white people will be a minority in the US. So America will resemble South Africa.
