Don, I've said it before and I'll say it again.....I've always thought they were quite the masochistic bunch. I guess they like getting beat down and all their possessions taken. What a sick society THAT is.

I was sent to a private school in Britain as a kid for couple of years. I learned that many of those boys were more interested in smelling each other's underpants than learning anything. Now whenever I read posts from a UK 'ponce' the image of seeing that bunch sniffing their laundry makes me shudder. GAAAAH!

65+ years of socialism will turn once proud men into Eloi on the Morlock's menus.

They are importing their Morlocks and have been for sometime. I REALLY wonder what going through the Elites' heads when they started the process.

Actually---I live in the real world and have real world reasons for buying a gun.

I bought my gun and took safety/shooting classes after Katrina. It was then I realized that after a natural disaster--the ones that do tend to happen in the U.S (tornados, floods, hurricane, earthquakes etc)---you can't depend on 911 to keep your property and family safe.

I bought my guns because I can. I carry one because I have a permit. anyone who threatens me or my family will be on the business end of one of my guns.

A variation on the "Because cops are to heavy to carry around" theme. :)

I bought mine cause I like to turn money into noise, an added benefit is that my owning them annoys liberals

The answers around here are absolutely voluntary Ace, buddy, and I ain't holdin' a gun to anybody's head. And I have a unique justification for buying my guns that I thought people would be interested in, i.e., giant burrowing sandworms in my backyard. One can never be too prepared for those things. First one knockin' on my door is in for one helluva big surprise.
