I like this guys attitude but I can see where he is going to get a lot of flack from the libs over this I agree though Mommy Government won't always be there to wipe you behind for you
At the DC anti gun protest this weekend a counter protester had a sign . I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy. It just goes back to the old saying that when the cop is 5 minutes away is not going to be much help when the burglar/home invader is downstairs
I listened to this cop and he's not only right, but upfront and honest about it. The manpower is not there anymore, so if the homeowner has a clean record, buy a gun, learn what he/she needs to know about the weapon so he/she can protect themselves until officers arrive..... So now the libs are going to scream like banshees b/c law-abiding citizens were advised to protect themselves until help arrives....
the libs will just describe it like it will be the shootout at the OK Corral any self respecting lib would rather be anally raped and beat to death with a club than defend himself/herself or take responsibility for their own actions or inactions
This cop was telling the truth to the citizens in his county, truth is something progressives hate! Of course he was right, when a criminal event takes place, cops aren't there! Citizens should be trained and ready to protect themselves ALWAYS!
Why would you want to own a gun and not know everything about it? I still take the occassional safety course even though I could teach it if I had to.
Too many people want to rely on the police. The problem is that police don't stop murder. They investigate it.
This should go without saying it but glad it was a PSA. I will go one step further and say bring back the Marksmanship programs in High School. Was a time before all the hippies graduated college and infested academia that marksmanship programs in school was the norm. with respect for the hippies
