As far as I know there hasn't been a law made that would punish adult men for having sex (rape, if you will) with pre teen boys under the banner and auspices of NAMBLA (North American Man-boy Love Association). I have no doubt that many (if not all) the liberal men on this forum are card carrying members of NAMBLA. My questions to you are these:

I'm curious to know whether you guys consider these sex acts by adult men on pre teen boys to first be something that you find perfectly legal, and second, considered to be rape with your definition(s), and third, which form of so-called rape would you find more egregious--that between an adult woman and an adult man, or that between an adult man and a pre teen boy?

 

while it was enjoyable in the moment.... the next day, I realized she was not as cute as I had originally thought she was and I began to regret my decision. And since I was COMPLETELY drunk off my backside, and she came and picked me up as my designated driver, so she was completely sober, I feel she took advantage of my vunerability due to alcohol.

Since I happen to know women who have actually been date raped, not an experience of "Oh I had sex when I was drunk so I was raped too" rape, excuse me for not taking your oft repeated protestations too seriously.

Looks like you haven't been paying attention. SFJEFF didn't answer my question about NAMBLA. All he did was to avoid it. He said pedophilia is illegal, but evidently it isn't illegal for the liberal men who belong to NAMBLA. So besides the double standard you on the left would expect us righteous Christians on the 'RIGHT' to accept, the only people attempting to make this serious post into a flamebaiting contest are folks like yourself.

But unless your friends that were date-raped were slipped a roofie, or passed out before or during the sex act, then no date-rape found.

being black out drunk and NOT REMEMBERING but being fully conscience is also not daterape. If anything other than being passed out, or slipped a mickey occurred, I would suggest your friends do a better job at protecting themselves in the future

Really all of your posts just sound like rationalizations for why its okay for men to date rape women.

 

Keeping with the question from the OP.....why is rape a crime, I would like to make another comparison since I had no takers with my NAMBLA question.

A living breathing heart-pounding fetus isn't given a chance to breathe GOD's fresh air because it's selfish mother decided to abort/murder it. The lowlife mother couldn't even give the fetus a chance at life, and a chance to tell it's mother to let it live, and for her to get immediate psychiatric help. Now I use this example of a murdering mother who gets no penalty for her atrocious crime to mankind, yet we see an adult male having intercourse with an adult woman (okay, perhaps against her whiny will) and yet he often gets a life sentence in prison for putting a sexual smile on a woman. Does anyone see the criminal intent and penalty discrepancy here?

Sounds about right with my big thing is having these adult males serve a life sentence for having harmless intercourse with an adult woman, yet an adult woman murders her child-to-be and gets off scott free. Go Figure!

I believe there is a such thing as date-rape. I however, don't believe everything currently trying to be pushed off is date rape.

so I'll break it down

girl passes out before sex and guy has sex with her - daterape
girl passes out during sex and guy doesn't stop - daterape
girl is slipped a roofie by the guy and he has sex with her - daterape
girl thinks the guy that wants to have sex with her is going to end up forcing himself on her if she doesn't consent = daterape

but, a girl choosing to get shiitfaced and regrets the fact that she turned into a slut and put out to a guy she wouldn't have had she been sober - not date-rape

getting black out drunk (ie - so drunk you forget what happened, but were never "passed out") and agreeing to sex, then claiming you were date-raped the next day is like the one above. Women don't think they would EVER agree to sex with a guy are often shocked by how quickly they will have sex with him when she gets drunk. Often, they don't want to admit to it and will try to pass off that since they don't remember saying yes, she must have said no.... or she knows she would have said no to him since sober her would say no to him. = not daterape.

I almost wish they would come up with seperate terms for legitamate date-rape and change your mind sex. Because intellectually dishonest people such as yourself want to say "well, he argued against one point of date-rape.... so therefore, he must not think ANY daterape is real"

oh yeah, one last case of NON date-rape.....

girl gets drunk and cheats on bf/hubby and gets caught and tries to get out of her infidelity by claiming rape or date rape.
