They'd have to be for it. To use a common play, they voted for Obama/biden...Biden likes it...hence this is what they voted for. Lets take the food and housing away from all the Aunt Zeituneis we're funding, and put it towards this instead.

Clue: I voted for Obama the first time and the second, the alternatives were unacceptable, but guess what, I am against any new gun bans and have said since the NJ school shooting that there should be cops in the schools. I am sure you will make the excuse that I am not the usual Obama supporter, but the fact of the matter is many Dems and Indes are not against gun ownership and I know of more than one conservative that are against gun ownership. The government's main job is to make sure citizens don't get shot down by criminals. So yes, this is important, but it shouldn't be funded by the federal government. This is something for the states to handle.
No, but it'd be nice to have an officer who's more than a phone call away... not just in case of incidents like Sandy Hook, but also to deter pedos and crazy parents/teachers and other general nutters.
Yeah there's always some exceptions, but the true reality is, that whenever there is a call for gun bans or gun controls it's always from the left side of the aisle. END OF STORY !
Ok I'm confused, why is it ok to arm the teachers(most of whom wouldn't know what to do with a gun) but not ok just to post cops(most of whom generally have a basic understanding of when and how to use a gun). Is it just that it would be less exotically destructive or just because the cops are all stormtroopers?
