It seems cliche, but it just might be true. The more sexist a man is, the more likely he is to be into big boobs. A recent study from the University of Westminster, published in February in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, showed that men's attitudes toward women influence their attitudes about ideal breast size. The researchers interviewed 361 white, heterosexual men, ranging in age from 18 to 68. (Since ethnicity has been previously shown to impact how individuals perceive breast size, the researchers decided to pull participants from just one self-identified racial category.) Each man was shown five different 3-D models of women, each with a different breast size, and then asked to record which "woman" he found most physically attractive. Afterward, the participants were given surveys which measured each man's level of hostility toward women, his attitudes about relationships between men and women, benevolent sexism and how much he objectified women. The researchers found that the largest percentage of participants (32.7 percent) rated medium-sized breasts as "most attractive," followed by large (24.4 percent), very large (19.1 percent), small (15.5 percent) and very small (8.3 percent). However, a preference for large and very large breasts was significantly correlated with overt sexism, benevolent sexism, female objectification and hostile attitudes toward women. This connection was strongest when it came to benevolent sexism. In other words, men who tend to idealize "traditional" femininity and perceive women as meek and weak, are also the most likely to prefer big boobs. "It is arguable that benevolently sexist men perceived larger female breasts as attractive because larger breast size on a woman is associated with perceived femininity," wrote the researchers. The findings don’t mean that all men who find big breasts attractive are sexist. Also, knowing that some guys may associate your big boobs with weakness is NOT a reason to have a breast reduction. But this research is a good reminder that social ideas about what makes a woman sexually desirable don't just impact the way women feel about themselves or how they imagine men perceive them. Those ideas impact the way that men view women -- both how attractive and how powerful men think they are. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/..._n_2792287.html?utm_hp_ref=science&ir=Science Ok, so step up to the plate and reveal how sexist you are gents!
I read that men like wide hips and large breasted women because it is an obvious sign of fertility. They find this attractive on a subconscious level going back to our primal instincts and desire to breed.
Breast feeding could be indicative of sexism then, since that is what leads to the attraction towards breasts according to Sigmund Freud. Women who breast feed their babies are typically submissive since that is a traditional conservative role, and rear more domineering type of men who like to take control. Women who don't breast feed their kids are typically dominant, going against traditional conservative roles and leaning more towards feminism and empowerment. They are more likely to rear submissive, effeminate, and liberal men who are less likely to be sexist.
I disagree. I breast fed by kids but I would not consider myself submissive. I am a modern, educated working woman but I know that mother's milk is healthiest. - - - Updated - - - I don't know if wide hips is considered attractive today. I think that slim is considered more attractive, with breasts! Having said that, I don't think anorexic is attractive to men either. Ironically being obsese makes one less fertile.
I suppose there is hourglass and there is hourglass, if you know what I mean? I am 43 now and was always 57/58 kilograms; lately my hourglass shape is looking more like 64 kilograms. LOL! At 163cm, I have to watch it or I might be "bottom heavy" pretty soon!
What the (*)(*)(*)(*) does liking big tits have to do with being sexist? That's ridiculous. ^This is the truth.
If liking big boobies and a nice can is sexist I guess my hunny is guilty of being one of the most sexist men of all. Hahaha!
Study says otherwise: However, a preference for large and very large breasts was significantly correlated with overt sexism, benevolent sexism, female objectification and hostile attitudes toward women. Oops.
50 bucks says your study is colored by progressive politics. Do you realize that the vast majority of what passes for "sexist" in modern western culture is simply healthy natural male behavior? Cultural norms today in America and Europe are heavily misandrist. A word that, conveniently, most of these people are not even familiar with.
What you likely did not read is that there are racial disparities between what bodily attributes males find attractive in females. As a result, this has a way of driving evolution. African women are more likely to have buttocks that stick straight out, the most extreme of example of this is examplified in the Khoikhoi people of southwestern Africa. Not surprisingly, African men tend to find voluptuous buttocks sexually arousing.
Well, I can, but I see that you've been banned now. In one instance that came from another thread recently, a liberal poster accused me of being a misogynist because I enjoy environments like football games where the men are hulking masculine behemoths clobbering the tar out of each other while the women are tiny little sexy, vibrant bursts of eye candy dressed in skimpy outfits and cheering on the men. Do you consider this sexist? Because it's not. It's completely natural. And yet many people with PC attitudes about life have a pretentious and elitist "moral" problem with it and falsely label this sexism. Good lord! What the (*)(*)(*)(*) did I walk into? Baby got back!
Yea... ... Uncle Ferd says dat's why all his g/f's got big breasts... ... `cause he's a mucho macho man.
