The hell it is, anti-semitism is rampant throughout the Muslim world as is the prevalence in the belief in conspiracy theories, but don't take my word for it just look at that pollig results.

And yet the overwhelming majority of Muslims do not just dislike "zionists" but they dislike Jews specifically.

From my experience Zionist is Muslim and Neo-Nazi code for Jew when speaking to more liberal audiences both here on this very forum but elsewhere as well, it's not that difficult to spot the rehashed anti-semitic canards patchworked with the word "zionist" substituted for the word "Jew" and if you can't see it then you're blind.

I realize that it was held in a bunch of countries I attempted to search the PEW website itself for the same question being asked in Israel in relation to their feelings about Muslims and couldn't find anything.

If Turkey had a better leader and played it smart, and Egypt too, they, along with Iran, would be putting any other diffrences to one side, and forging closer ties. I think that would be best for all three. Turkey have a formidable army. And their tech is pretty good. The Iranian army are also not to be dismissed. Both would smash Israel, in a face to face fight, with no bleating for Israel for their golem to come save their arse,but being the cowards they are, they would fire a nuke the second they got their pathetic little selves a beating.

 

Why in the world would using nukes against an army that could take you over be bad????

And just how is Iran going to invade Israel?...there is that little problem of Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon being in the way. Iran has zero amphibious capabilities.

And how would benefit if Turkey forms closer ties with Iran and Egypt?...they have trade with both right now...did I misunderstand?

they are 3 biggest countries in region, Iran provides turkey with oil and gas , Iranians have huge , business in Turkey. both Iran and turkey work(often together) against great Kurdistan project . what Turkey can get from Israel?

Egypt and Iran are old ancient cultures. Why should they cooperate with Turks? I dont think they will fall that deep. The Ottoman Empire did the same and worse to the people as Israel does today, when it was in charge. About the consequences ask the Bulgarians or Armenians or the other people under control of Ottomans and Turks. It's a shame especially for the US, but also for Europe to pamper Turkey and Israel, I cannot say which is worse.
