MSNBC and Fox News are both garbage. Fox does at least tell both sides to an argument, but then again, they have also allowed dangerous paranoid schizo people like Glenn Beck to spew hate and scare stupid people beyond belief for no real good reason. I mean, Fox News is such a joke, they have Hank Williams Jr. on to discuss politics!!

Going to either for "truth" is like going to Boise or Bakersfield for a "good time."

The media are business and their purpose is profit .
They can make more profit if a larger amount of people are watching them instead of their competitors .
People have a tendency to watch channels that share or have similar views and interests.
How to make money? get an audience to like you
Why they would like you ? because you are broadcasting their opinion

Integrity and truthfulness do not apply in any medium made after profit , yes i have personal experience from working in the media.

Oh funny, what do people in Greece love to see on TV? Is profit a somewhat platonic concept?

"Trying to pin 'Fundamentals of the economy are strong' on Joe Biden...when it was Biden talking about McCain's quote"......."Identifying Mark Sanford as a 'Democrat'"...."Obama silver spoon 'quote'"......"Romney landslide"...."skewed polls"...."Chuck Hagel and 'Friends of Hamas'"...."Bob Menendez and hookers"

Neither FOX nor MSNBC deal with "The News" in anything approaching unbiased or complete coverage. Both are basically mouth pieces for the political parties...this means I must watch both channels to be adequately informed.

Though for pure entertainment I will watch FOX (usually kinda funny without trying to be), I will usually go to CNN instead...as it at least tries to cover the news in detail.

To be honest...the BBC seems best for truth.

You mean to be adequately misinformed. LOL.

    Oh no you don't.

BBC would be great if they keep reruns of Monty Python on forever.

You have the internet so you can cross check each and every piece of information / news you get, personally i use wtfcnn.com .

Audiences are the same worldwide. My point is that you should not trust media who try to appease you.

It's easy not to lie when you don't report something you don't like. It's called keeping their viewers in the dark. I've listened to MSNBC and those people are nuts.

I'd say about .000001% more truthful because they don't have have "fair, and balanced" rotating in the bottom of the screen all the time.

Remember the broad who wore tampon earrings? Yeah, she was so over the top she lost her show. And Joy Reid? Lost her show. How about the clown who called Laura Ingraham a "slut"? Lost his show. Cenk Ugyur? Lost his show he was so nutso.

After getting viewers down to nearly single digits, they finally relegated Rev. Al (Freddie's fashion mart riot, Tawana Brawley) Sharptoon to weekends.

Fox seems in a class for itself when it comes to "facts". At least their pundits.

If anyone has any interesting studies about the reliability of the American MSM I would love to have them.

    Remember when Chris Matthews said

"the reason Hillary's a US Senator, the reason Hillary's a candidate for President, the reason she may be a front runner, is that her husband messed around."

We keep forgetting it. She didn’t win it on her merit, she won because everybody felt, “My God, this woman stood up under humiliation, right? That’s what happened! That's how it happened.

    But now says that

""If you're watching, Madam Secretary, all three of us have brilliant ideas. All of us have brilliant ideas. And I especially put myself in that group with Joan and David. We know how to do this, we’ll get you in there."

Matthews had a few lines of his own by owning up to the true intentions of the liberal media that “there are a lot of force groups” out there “working for Hillary. There’s a lot of countervailing forces out there as well, right...She has allies. She’s got allies — in the media.” http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb...ary-has-got-allies-media#sthash.hivxIBrG.dpuf

And the useful idiots will believe the media lies and vote for Hillary as they are told to do by the liberal media.

I personally think that the comparison as a whole simply isnt interesting to me. I suppose I would say FOX, but you have to do a show by show comparison.

I think Hannity is Garbage, Chris Wallace on the weekends is great to hear him rip everyone equally.

I dunno, I agree with what was said ealier. At least FOX shows both sides.

    MSNBC is really bad
