Those who badmouth Michael Moore have a hidden agenda

It is not hard to understand Marxian class system. Small businesses are petty-bourgeois. They become capitalist firms from reproduction. A salesman is petty-bourgeois. Moore is not a capitalist any more than J.k. Rowling is a capitalist, he does not own a chain. His products are sold through capitalist firms. He does not own the firms.

 

So you agree that you have an agenda, as well? So what's the big deal if people who oppose Michael Moore have a "hidden agenda" ? It's not that well hidden anyway... not everybody is in love with socialism.

 

We all have our agendas friend. Some are for the betterment of society and some are not. Most are for profit, above all morality and the common good. Oppose MM all you like if that's what floats our boat. Just don't try and come off as some kind of humanitarian cause, it's rather obvious. Just admit you're willing to take and extract anything from anybody to better your own personal wealth. Don't try and down play it.

 

Call it whatever you want. I don't really care. But the man's entire existence is one giant contradiction. No pun intended.

I think that Moore is a very good political documentarian and the right hates him because he is a very good political documentarian.
There is more truth in one of his films than you hear from the right-wing media in a year.

Petty Bourgeois doesn't have a concrete meaning, it literally means "small capitalist". That would usually mean the owner of one small business, for example the local restuerant. It gets kind of blurry in the middle.

Moores films are loaded with half truths and flat out lies. It cancels out any facts he's portraying. His best film was his first. Ater that he realized he indeed could become one of the people he now claims are evil. He's liberal scum of the most nastiest degree, right up there with Pelosi and her ilk.

If his words meant anything he would be living in a modest house and donating the vast majority of his wealth. Like someone else said, how can you possibly edit and produce any of your films in Canada when the entire purpose of doing so is to do it cheaper and avoid taxes? What a complete blithering idiot.

You can't get angry at someone like Trump for being rich when he doesn't condemn what he does. But when Pelosi goes and says it or some rich actor makes a comment, you want to smack other over the head. Pitt and Jolie I can respect because they do their talking with their humanitarian efforts. Michael Moore proved he was a corporate sell out when he turned to spite Ralph Nader in favor of the Corporate Democratic Party. Moore is an attention whore, he seeks out controversy and sells it with a spin. He is not a role model he is a hypocrit, he is not a champion of the people he is a money grabbing story teller. When you have worked in the factories, the potato fields, the call centers, worked 60 hours a week and watched your neighbors, who don't work, who claim to be disabled tending their gardens and driving vehicles you cant afford you can speak for the poor and attack the rich, corporate fat cats. The fact is Michael Moore is FAT FAT FAT CAT, no one is scared of him, i would like to see him try and do a days worth of labour, stacking hay in a barn, or working on equipment in a factory. I don't understand why you keep bringing up Michael Moore because he doesn't actually do anything of value when it comes to politics except repeat the mantras of his tribe and make poorly produced conspiricy documentarys.

 

He identified an audience that could be pandered to with exaggerations, distortions, and outright lies, and he used that to amass wealth. Nothing new, unfortunately.

 

Moore's ethic: "Do as I say, not as I do." I don't hear a lot of "right-wingers" telling people about the evils of wealth and free enterprise like Moore does--which is, consequently, how he gets rich. Therefore, Moore should give away his wealth to be consistent with his stated position.

To your second point: Please cite where I have given a free pass to "hypocritical moralizing" by "rich right wingers" as you claim.

 

I'm not sure that he's such a great documantarian, but he is a darn good businessman. One need only look at his vast wealth and fleet of luxury homes for evidence of his commercial success in the capitalist free market. And though I disagree with his message, I admire and respect his success. He's figured out how to get rich in America and is living the American Dream. Good for him.
