    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...e-powers-to-the-secret-service-in-that-state/

This is absolutely creepy... a state Governor... signs a bill... that would allow the Secret Service to arrest local officials....

Is anyone else disturbed by this?

Not really .... Colorado has been in a state of emergency since Aurora and the shooting-death of it's Prison Chief as well as a pandemic of shooting incidents ...

After Hickenlooper signed those gun bills, does this really surprise you? The man is an anti-constitutionalist and a traitor.

New official state song of Colorado:

    Not that it matters.

Law enforcement officials are sworn to uphold and enforce the law.

The various law enforcement official who have said or signed pledges not to enforce the state's gun laws, have provided written or spoken evidence of thier intention not to do what they are sworn and employed to do.

Only in wingnut world would anyone assert the right of local law enforment to have the right to pick and choose which laws to enforce and then turn around and claim that it's Constitutional!

True - like when federal law enforcement decides its OK to only selectively enforce existing immigration laws, then proclaim the need for new ones.

Isnt that kind of like the POTUS just picking and chosing which laws he will enforce?

This is ANOTHER reason to stay out of Colo and not spend vacation dollars there. If the voters in Colo are so stupid as to put an idiot like Hickenlooper in power, they wont get any of my vacation money. I invite others to stay away from Colo also.

This Sheriff is afraid he might lose his job by taking political stand against a law when he is sworn to uphold the law. Sheriffs and other LEO uphold the law, they don't get to make the law, which apparently this Sheriff in this story seems to think.

Maybe someone ought to tell the Sheriff politics is a full contact sport...

Hypothetical question here. If/when the military is ordered to confiscate guns from Americans on American soil by order of the POTUS, should they listen?

Right...Obama and his gang of criminals selectively enforce law, or in the case of turning prisoners loose in the streets, break the law, and pick and choose what law they will obey all the time.
    I guess that doesn't count.

    Really?

How many other states and towns have agreements to allow the Secret Service to arrest sherrif's who do not enforce our Fuehrer's will?

    Be explicit.

He was also sworn to to uphold the Constitution, did you forget that part?

I have sent John several letters asking a response for his position. I get back form letters via email. This Man is dangerous. Our local Sheriff is one of the vocal ones and has been elected several times. I will continue my support for him.

This is a deep and disturbing move that Colorado has taken. I will be lucky enough to be moving in 2015. Sorry, but I am a realist and nothing is going to stop this progressive religion in Colorado. I believe you and I know of each other in another forum called GFE?

The police at Aberdeen Proving Grounds have jurisdictional overlap with the town of Aberdeen police.

Seems a bit of overkill for a state that has disarmed all its citizens and legalized pot. Whats the problem?

Don't bother confusing them with facts or reality.

They have their right trash media silo, which feeds them a steady diet of fearmongering, xenophobia and ignorance.

    And they LIKE it!

If you'll notice, Democrats are using tragedies to bring the "Forward!" across the land. But, they won't try to ban criminal gangs or close the borders.

They have a plan- disarm and radically change traditional America into their vision of Utopia.

    - - - Updated - - -

Then, why do they need the law?

Is it a law, or is a Mutual Agreement/Understanding. Those are legal contracts for cooperation.

Hardly the same as giving the Secret Service the authority to come in and arrest local sheriffs, is it.

Wow, and that is so akin to allowing the Secret Service to arrest sherrif's who refuse to enforce unconstitutional laws.
